I believe everything is as it should be. The human species is doing exactly what it's designed to do and the planet is evolving as a result. Adaptation is the key to life and we will adapt to the changes that are inevitable.

The question is, will it warm up? Most of the AGW [Anthropogenic Global Warming] debate is about a small upturn in temperature that has to be 'mined' from data. That was before they had to recalibrate the Satellites.
Even the big committee that recently sat gave an undefined answer.

AGW is more of a hype to get us to use less energy than a reality. Read 'Peak Oil' . Why else would the UK Gov. fund 500 coal power stations in China.

The real problems that we are being diverted from discussing are Pollution and Energy shortage. It is still more likely that we are going to have significant cooling in 2030 than warming.

We are all going to die someday it is when that is a worry. I suspect the ruthless DNA will make sure we survive.

I care because if the earth does then some people have not lived there whole lives. Maybe when all the people on earth are old then no. But as long as we still have some live to go i care and don't really won't to die. But we have no control so when it happens it happens and that's that.

It's like the question of global warming. Who cares if the temperature of America goes up five degrees? The people in the gulf coast, who experience more hurricanes than considered normal. Who knows, maybe our Earth exploding will set off the orbits of the other planets, displacing the sun and causing it to destroy a planet in a different star system, full of life we weren't even aware of. So to speak for the inhabitants of planet Zaqwer, "We Do!"

You are asking the wrong question. The correct question is: "Who cares if the earth warms up and makes us all miserable?" That answer to that question is everyone. You see global warming will not kill us, at least not most of us, but it will make our lives really crappy. That seems like a great reason to care to me.

Most people probably do care, regardless of whether or not they believe in global warming, that whole last part probably is a little concerning.

Things are headed that way and some one had better wake up and do some thing soon. There is no other inhabitable planet. Some think it is already too late.

The dolphins do. They keep waiting for us to evolve intelligence. They are rather patient but quite concerned at our recent behavior which suggests we may snuff it before we are finally able to communicate with them.
