Well, think about it, most planets were made from dirt and stuff, and earth is millions of years old, and other planets are even older, and dirt was probably around for a while then, so older than dirt is really old. But older than dirt is just an expression that means it's really, really old.

It's all relative. It depends on the age of the accuser as compared to the age of the old person. For example, I am 27 so older than dirt could be around 40 or so.

much older than humans, but on the geologic scale of time, dirt is actually younger than most rocks.
id rather be called older than dirt than older than pangea... but maybe that's just me.
