Answer #1: You still have the 7 apples, for as long as you don't take a bite. Otherwise, you would have 6, and a bit one.

Quite an interseting question with many answers:

1) You have 2 apples in your hands

2) You have 5 apples left on the table

3) You have 7 apples in total (2 in your hands and 7 on the table)

4) You have 0 apples because you ate the 2 you took

5) You have 5 apples because you ate the 2 you took
