Trying to Conceive - September 2007

been my wiv partner 3 yr and had unprotected sex for 18 month wiv no luck but we really want a baby together, i have absent periods for 2 yrs and now dnt know what to do...please help!

Is it true that if you are unable to ovulate and produce an egg then that means that IVF or ICSI would be pointless to do, or can they extract the egg from within, even if you dont ovulate?

what im saying is if they give you medication and you never ovulate still, does that mean you cannot do IVF or is there a way around that?

im 18 years of age, i became pregnant at the age of fourteen, i was to young so i had to have an abortion. then me and my boyfriend and sex two years ago, i was frighten so i went to one of my friends who told me he knew about abortions. he gave my pills to take then he push pills up my vagina the first set nothing happened. the second time he used different pills the next day my periods came. i hadnt have my period for the month as yet but i was frighten so i went to him. now years have pass im tryin to get pregnant and nothing wouldnt happen, me and my boyfriend ahve sex on a regular basic like twice a week or once maybe and he ejaculates in me eveytime but nothing happened. please i really need your help. cant i still become pregnant

Ok my husband and I have been trying to have another baby. And I am now 2 days late and have had 2 negative pregnancy tests. The lines for the negative were very faint too. But I have had the sensitive chest and headache. And have been exhausted the last week. I havn't been exercising more than my normal running around the house. My stress has been totally fine nothing big going on right now. And I never miss a period except for my first pregnancy. Do I wait and see what happens? Could I still be pregnant even with two negative tests? Just wanting any advice about this...lol My husband and I have just been wondering whats going on....lol

The first day you see that ewcm does that mean that you have already ovlated or is ovulation coming. My husband are ttc #2 and yesterday my cm was creamy like lotion (sorry to much info) Now that I have detected what I was looking for since I have been off the pill for three months I just need a little clarification. again and was wondering how long it took for other PCOS'ers to see results. i'm starting at 500mg once a day with dinner and am going to take vitamin B and eat small frequent meals. i'm also going to commit to reduce refined sugars etc. thank you for sharing.

And i just saw this question, it was this 14 year old girl complaining about how no one thinks she is responsible enough for her daughter. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! 14 years old?? Morning everyone
I am ecstatic to announce that I got a positive test result this morning. I wanted to share this news as I have been out of control since trying to conceive. Here is a quick run down. This was our 3rd month of trying. For the first 2 months I was constantly on this sight reading things. I was trying to pin point ovulation and running my husband ragged. I thought I had every sympton but ended up getting my period. But then for the 3rd attempt I just relaxed and didn't stress about things. We went away for a few days for a bit of rest & relaxation & guess what it must have worked. It is rather amusing as I took the test this morning and had a shower and got out a bit upset as I felt like I was getting my period and had a bit of a cry to the husband (must be hormornes) & when I went back there was a positive line. I am a bit tentative about the result but they say that you don't get too many false positives. I will retest in a couple of days just to be sure :)

My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for almost a year now without any luck. The probelm is my periods I might get it one month then won't get them for next few months.
I started seeing a doctor, at first she said to have a blood test and after the result she said I would have to go on Clomid but she wants me to have the HSG test just to make sure that there is no blockage then I had to wait again for the month and had to take Provera to force periods so that I can go for the test, everything came back normal now again this month Im taking provera to force periods so I can start taking Clomid.
It is very frustrating, its all I think about 24/7, Its making me crazy.
Has anyone else gone through this procedure to get pregnant? if yes, did it work for you? how many months did you have to be on Clomid? Any help would me greatly appriciated.

Also, is there spotting after the removal of IUD, and if so, for how long does it generlaly last? Does it hurt to get it removed and will there be any pain or discomfort after the removal?

its not time for my period yet until sep 18 or before i really dont know it comes at different times. but all ways tired my breast hurts alot around the nipple bad and i started to break out on my face and sometimes i loose my balance at times.i feel bloted all the time and use the bathroom alot what could this be remember i had my tubes tied clip and burt 6 years ago

My husband and I have been ttc for 3 months. I know when I ovulate and we have been trying during that time, eat right etc. I'm 11 days past ovulation and don't really have any usual symptoms. I have been a little more tired than usual, but that could have other reasons. One thing I noticed that my skin has been really oily, especially on my boobs. I usually have really dry skin. Could this be a pregancy sign? Anyone ever had this? No stupid answers, please :) Thanks

I have been TTC#2 for about 9 months. My last period was August 18. I had sex on day 28 and 30. That is when I think I was ovulating. Sperm can live for awhile inside so... I have had some symptoms...back ache, pms cramps,nausea, white lotion looking cm.... I know it is to soon to take a pregnancy test, but I can't seem to stay sane. I want to know so bad. What did you do to keep sane. I have a doctors appt on the 19.

Ok, I have been experiencing problems with my cycle for as long as I can remember. I never was regulated and things only got worse as I grew up in age. I missed periods for months (wasn't sexually active) and this caused me to report to my doctor. Well my doctor which was changed at the very last minute, put me only birth control (Depo) for 4 months. She then told me after the 4 months was up that I was to take supplements of iron everyday to regulate my period. After my period was regulated I was instructed to stop takinng the iron pills. That was back in 2005. Of course I eventually stopped taking the iron medicine and noticed that my period was regulated. Recently I haven't had a period in 5 months. I got married this past July and I thought that I was pregnant. In the last 4-5 months I've taken home prg. test and doctor's tests and all come up negative. My husband and I want to have a baby but we can't. I have been experiencing nausea in the mornings and headaches. what is this??

I am 98% sure I am pregnant, I started feeling sick in the mornings and at night a couple of days ago, as well as I've been really moody. I decided to take a pregnancy test, it was the cheap brand, but I've used it before and it was a clear negative. The first one I took this time had a faint plus line..I decided to take another at a different time of the day, again same result. The next morning I did the same, and once again same result. I know I should see my doctor, but seeing as it is the weekend I can't, I am going to make an appt tomorrow...but in your oppinions what do you think. Me and my husband have been trying for awhile, so if it is positive I am so excited and ready :) I was on depo I only had two shots my last one was in january I have had three regular periods since, last one ending on August 10th, thats why I am a little sceptical about this. Please let me know you thoughts thanks!

My husband and I have been ttc for 9months now, have had tests and both of us are healthy and should have no problems ttc, starting to get v frustrated and upset. Found out over the weekend a friend is pregnant, they have been ttc for 4 months, over those 4 months my friends husband has been smoking dope and hoping they don't get pregnant, she dosen't know about this and i will never tell her as it's none of my business. I know it shouldn't worry me what they do but i was really upset when i found out they were expecting as he doesn't want a baby yet and it smoking dope and my husband and i are doing everything right and still no good news. How do i cope in a situation like this when it is starting to feel like i'm the only one who can't get pregnant. Feeling like life is unfair and down and out especiallly because i know of the horrible secret, it's murphys law isn't it.....can't stop crying and wishing i was pregnant too........
