Proviron is a steroid, often used for treating infertility. Sometimes it is taken for low sperm count. It has several side effects (not growth related) so if you don't have a low sperm count it would probably be the best not to take it.

There are many options that can be taken when a sperm count is low. First, I would recommend seeing a specialist that could determine the sterile percentage of his sperm. Adoption or donors presents another option. Also, the low count could be genetic. Some simple "don'ts" are hot tubs, smoking, and tight pants (all variables in a low sperm count). Also, new precedures would allow a specialist to 'harvest' you husband's sperm and use that to artificially ensiminate you, a great option if available.

Ask a doctor.
