Trying to Conceive - August 2007

i think i might have got pregnant. i was ovulating around the 1st-3rd and i had unprotected sex midight aug.1-2. i was woundering if every woman exp. implataion bleeding? oh yeah...i'm feeling a bit bloated....but i think its still too early.....anyways yeah i just would like to know! thanks =]

So, I was due for AF yesterday....nothing so far!!!!! I am waiting very impatiently to take a test...my birthday is this Saturday, August 11th. So if I dont get AF by then, I will take a test that morning.and hopefully, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME with a ++++! (hopefully) Signs of either AF or preggers are all there so as long as the red holds off, I am happy!! One thing I did notice is this new weird bright blue vein right through my left areola....so thats promising....I am trying not to get my hopes up or anything though...arrrrg. Oh yeah and I have had killer heartburn. So far I am not overly exhausted or anything but its still real early. My appetite seems to have increased. Sore BB's, lower abdominal cramps and lower back and hip pains.....and my fingers have been swolen!! weird. My temp has stayed up (I dont bbt track, just a normal thermometer) So, basically this post is just an update from me and to see how ya'll are doing too....lets hear the updates!

I've read everywhere that you should use first morning urine when taking a pregnancy test...
But I was wondering, what if you don't wake up till sometime in the evening? [night shift schedule]
Is it the same thing?
And could a kidney infection mess with your results?

Just curious, because I'm almost a week late, which is really weird for me...I had AF like cramps for about 4/5 days sometime last week, but the pass few days haven't had any.
And my boobs have been sore for a week now...which is really weird for me. I don't even get sore boobs before AF. They're kind of swollen and I have a lot of blue veins.

But I got a negative test 3 days after I was supposed to start my period.

I don't know, I'm just confused.

Maybe I just have my hopes too high since I've been TTC for soo long.

So my doctor started me on provera because i have heavy periods and when i get pregnant i miscarry but it is on the day of my period.since i have been taking provera i have noticed on my monthly cycles that i have not ovulated.i have benn taking these meds for two cycles. i have always ovulated without no problems now i have problems ovulating now i am taking provera. what should i do? It took two miscarriages for the doctor to provide provera.please help!

Can anyone tell me anything they have been through? I have diabetes, controled, no thyroid condition, genetic testing showed nothing. We just can't seem to carry a child past 14 weeks.

When an insurance company (such as Kaiser) covers infertility treatments (such as IUIs) do you have to be diagnosed "infertile" or does it also cover alternative relationships wanting to have IUIs (when you dont have infertility problems)?

I don't want to look out of place when I am not showing and I'm going to a prenatal yoga class but I'm afraid of doing something that I shouldn't be doing even in early pregnancy...does anyone have any advice?

Hi,me and my partner of 11yrs have been trying to concieve for 15 months.We decided to go to the doctor to have fertility tests as nothing was happening.We got our results on friday,my results were all ok but my partner had a low sperm count/low motility.Our doctor has now put in a referral for us to see fertility specialist and should take about 3 months.
Our doc said not to worry,as the first sperm analysis doesnt always give answers and as the semen were about 45 mins old when we handed them in...could give misleading results.Anyway just wanted to know what to expect when we see fertility specialist.What treatment we might be offered,has anyone had low motility and needed treatment.
My partner has read abit about how to improve it himself up until we see doctor ie.no hot baths,healthy eating and hes started taking co enzyme q10 what docs say can improve sperm motililty.Its would be nice to hear from people who have had to have fertility treatment.

i am having lots of pregnancy symp but i took a home test and its neg. and i went to the hospital and they did a test and its neg my breast hurt and are hard i am bloated i am supposed to start my period next week and yesterday this brown stuff was on the toliet paper went i used the bathroom anyone have any ideas????

i know that it is recommended to wait about 3 months after a miscarriage to try to concieve. im not trying..
i miscarried a few weeks ago.
i just want to know HONESTLY how soon after a miscarriage a woman can get pregnant again? i have looked endlessly on the net for the answer to this question, i keep reading "recommendations".
i dont need that.
i want to know how soon a woman is fertile and is eligable to become pregnant, after a miscarriage?
i was not pregnant for long. only a week or so and i lost it. so i didnt carry it very far at all, to speak of. we arent trying, but we arent NOT trying. its in God's hands. im just curious. so i dont want to hear any of that "wait X months" stuff, PLEASE. im not replacing the baby i lost, we're just trying to find out if i could be right now or not.. very confusing time being had by all!

okay so i have heard 2 storys about getting pregnant after you have been on birth control. First is after you get off birth control it can take months before you are able to get pregnant. The other is your most fertile after you get off birth control. which of these would be true? my husband is overseas right now due to be home in june, we are planning to try for our 3rd child. right now i am on bc to regulate my periods, but i would like to know the truth to these storys so i can choose to stick with the bc or end it so i have the best chance of getting pregnant when he comes home. please let me know anything you may know about this. lol @ my Q. Okay. I went of my bc pills in July. Af arrived July 19th and lasted about 5 days. Since then the hubby and I have been bd'ing every other night or so. ;] According to these things online my ovulation day was on Aug. 1st. We bd'ed the night before and a day or two after. However, I 'm not sure if I ovulated that day or a few days earlier. Earlier that week I had ovulation cramps/twinges so I'm near positive I have already ovulated. I couldn't keep track of my cm because of all the bd'ing -haha So the only thing I have to go by is the ovulation twinges. Anyway, so many women are different when it comes to signs and/or symptoms. So...so far I feel like I am hungry more often already, have to pee more often than usual and I pee frequently even if it's only the smallest amount. My nipples are real sensitive. They used to be before but never this long, it's been a week. I know I won't know for sure until I take a hpt but I was wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences

We're TTC & the first time we tried was about a week and 3 or 4 days ago & we've tried about every other day since then. I've been reading some peoples Q&As about implantation & noticed that twinges of pain was one of the signs of implantation. I recall having some pains in my stomach about an inch above my belly button & on the very far right side of my stomach. I'm pretty sure it's been almost 1 month & a week since my last period & my periods are never regular so I can't really tell when the next will be, but it still hasn't come. I haven't experienced any implantation bleeding though. Does it always occur or just in some cases?

I had one from june 29th-july6th...
Then nothing for a week...
Then another period from July 13th-20th...
then nothing for two weeks...
Then for the past 5 days I've noticed scant amounts of blood, light pink mucus to start, and now a little darker, brighter red color.
Its not even enough to wear a pad and seems to be only when I wipe after going to the washroom.
Has this happened to anyone else before?

I've been reading about what to expect "during the 4th week" and am not sure how to interpret the weeks. For example I read that implantation bleeding is in the 4th week, so should that be at the same time as my expected period?
