This is a very valid question so don't feel that you have to justify your feelings. Anyway is is possible to get pregnant right after you have a miscarriage. People and doctors have their recommendations but if it happens then it just happens. I lost my first one and got pregnant a few weeks after. I am currently ten weeks and doing great!. This is definitely something that you should talk to your doctor about because he knows your health history and he can give you good advice. The best to you!

I had my first miscarriage in late February 2007. I had two periods, then got pregnant again at the end of May 2007. However, I must warn you, I ended up having another miscarriage. The second miscarriage was NOT because it was so close to the previous miscarriage, but i will tell you that the second miscarriage was mentally and physically harder to recover from because of the major emotional and physical turmoils of the past pregnancies and miscarriages. The answer you want is inside you: If you are willing to run the risk of a possible miscarriage or continue with a full pregnancy then you are ready to start TTC. You will probably begin to ovulate again after the first period.

I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks along on June 15. I bled for about a week and continued to have my hcg levels checked every week until they were back down to zero. I never had a normal period after the miscarriage so I took a pregnancy test a few weeks ago on a hunch and it was positive. I haven't been to the dr yet but I am having every pregnancy symptom in the book, so I know I'm pregnant. I have been on other forums and the general consensus is that, similar to a normal period, you ovulate about two weeks after a miscarriage. If my calculations are correct I am exactly eight weeks along today. Good luck!

Hi there I know exactly how you are feeling as just over two weeks ago I had an early miscarriage at around 4 weeks .I had tested on the day my period was due and it was positive .I also tested the next day to make sure and this too was positive.3 days later I started bleeding and was told it was either an early miscarriage or a chemical pregnancy. We started having sex 1 week after the miscarriage as the bleeding had stopped and I had no signs of infection.I know that it is possible to become pregnant straight away as it happened to 2 close friends so good luck.best wishes.

look, the honest answer is that u can certainly try right away but the longer u wait (yes, 3 months), the better it will be for you. u give your uterus and your body and mind time to heal. even if u carried the little bugaloo for only one week, your uterine lining still needs time to heal.

so the only problem is that if you ttc right away and u succeed right away, you'll be at a much higher risk to miscarry again d/t the fact that u did not give your body (ie uterus) time to heal.

so it's up to you. u can either be patient and wait, or not, and run the risk of suffering another miscarriage.

you can physically get pregnant again almost immediately i would say within 2 weeks you could ovulate. however i just wanted to add that if you were only a couple weeks pregnant then there is no reason for you to have to wait. the 2-3 months is for ppl who were like 7 weeks or more.

you can get pregnant as son as you ovualte, which can be as soon as a week after or as much as six weeks after. IF you have had a cycle, you have started ovualtion again. But if you conceived at teh first ovualtion after your loss then you may not have realised it.

For safetys sake, wait atlast 1 cycle. YOur body needs to heal enought to nurture a new pregnancy. good luck and God Bless.
