I experienced something that seemed like implantation bleeding on the day of my period, which only lasted 3 days, and was nothing more than some brownish spotting on the toilet paper when I wiped. It wasn't a flow or anything more than that. My periods are heavy and last 7 days. Well, this spotting ended on day 3.
So on day 6, I took a test. It was one of those types that have two windows. One window is called the control window and it always has a line to show the test has absorbed the proper amount of urine for testing.. The other window determines if you are pregnant or not. The window shows a horizontal line for negative, and a plus sign for pregnant.
Well, a slightly faint horizontal line showed after a few minutes. It was lighter than the line in the control window, but still indicated not pregnant. There was a tiny, tiny little white line through the horizontal line, but more to the left, instead of straight-thru the middle as it would have been if it were a positive sign. Plus if it was a plus sign, it would have been pink, not white. I think that was an evaporation line, and it dissapeared in a few mins anyway. I was wondering if it is still possible for this to have been a false negative?? Should I retest now that a few days have passed and the HCG in my urine might have built up, if I am pregnant?
