I don't have the websites anymore, but I had heard that green tea was a no-no for pregnant women so I did some research online. Of the reasons listed, it can impair the ability to absorb folic acid-a key vitamin for preventing defects, etc. It can also impair your body's ability to absorb iron, which is also necessary.
6-10 cups a day seems to border on excessive anyway, but if you're TTC, and especially when you get pregnant, I highly recommend cutting down, caffeine or not.

Green tea does not contain caffeine. I've heard often that it's very good for you. I don't know if it would effect your hormonal system or not, you should check with a doctor.

You know, with all these fads and fantasies and "health scares" that come out twice a day, it makes you wonder how people ever managed to have children in the past. I mean, there are only 6 billion of us on the planet at the moment.

Green tea DOES contain some caffeine, just not as much as coffee. You could always buy the box that says "decaffeinated" if you're worried it may harm the baby.
