Use an ovulation kit. Have sex every 2-3 days until you get a positive result, then screw like bunnies for the next couple days after.
BBT charting still goes off an average and works best with regular cycles.

I also recommend seeing a doctor about your cycles, if you haven't already. It sounds like you may not be ovulating, or ovulating irregularly. Besides the inconvenience of timing, things like that can add more complications, especially to the TTC process (no egg, no baby). If that's not the case, there still could be something that needs addressed.

I would definitely talk to a doctor about trying to get your cycle more regular...

In regards to other ways to improve the liklihood of conception, trying a fertility monitor might be useful, make sure to check b/c some are not recommended if your cycles are very short or very long... I use the clearblue and it has been great at identifying my most fertile days... Conceived quickly with my first and hopefully will be successful with #2

Charting your temp is great, but it doesn't let you know when you ovualte check out twoweekwait.com thay have some great info on charting.

Learning to identify you Cervical Mucas is helpful too. I figured out that i don't produce enough of the friendly mucas at ovulation... I now use preseed (lubricant) and hope it helps. preseed.com

Please note that many doctors will encourage daily sex providing there are no fertility issues with your partner (low sperm count). Every other day is great too. Make sure you are regular during your fertile period. Prop you hips up afterwards for about 20-30 minutes and hope those swimmers get to where they need to go...

Baby Blessings to you....

You can use an ovulation test, but remember, wperm can live in the vagina for up to 3 days, so I would have sex every 2-3 days, and for the fun of it! Orgasms up your chance of getting pregnant, so enjoy the "trying".

I am the same way. Irregular cycle and all.
The ovulation kit did not work for me. I guess because I was not ovulating that month.
I would have sex every other day after your period for about two weeks.
Good luck and take care

use an ovalation kit since your menstrual is irregular. Sex everyday will lower your chances because the sperm will not be mature enough to pregnant you. Sperm is stronger when obstained for 3 days. Usually you ovalate 14 days before menstral or 14 days after. Consult your doctor he/she can give you full details of your situation. Good Luck

It takes 48 hours for a man's sperm count to come back up after ejaculation so sex every other day is optimal. You should chart your basal body temps to verify ovulation and also may want to observe your cervical position and mucus so you will know when ovulation is near.

are you charting? If not, try www.fertilityfriend.com
That is the clearest way to show ovulation, and learn about your cycle. Also, using the opks would be a good idea seeing as your cycle varies so much.
also, come and check out this site
http://www.twoweekwait.com it is a great community of women TTC and we share experiences and support each other through our TTC journey. Good luck to you and lots of BABYDUST!

My husband and i tried and tried and tried to get pregnant and what actually worked for us was not having sex for like a week (or however long you can go- the longer the better) and HE can't masturbate or anything because your trying to build up his sperm count and then have sex. It is supposed to make the sperm cells stronger.
