I was on depo for 2 years and had last shot Jan 2006, i hear it takes a while for your periods to be normal, but they were up until November and then they went crazy again. We have been ttc since November trying not to stress too much. I have been working 12 hr work shifts possibly pregnant, or just too much work?

If a pregnancy test shows up negative it doesn't necessarily mean you're not pregnant, it just means that hCG hasn't been detected... If your period hasn't started in a week I would go to the doctor and have a test done there... xx

Negative test means not pregnant. Most likely your delayed period is a result of delayed ovulaiton--also called an anovulatory cycle. Give it some time and see if your period comes. If it doesn't come in 8 weeks after you expected it then you need to see your gyn to have a period induced.

if you usually ovulate on the average time frame, then you would get a bfp on a hpt by now. I would say it is stress, but I could be wrong. I missed my period for 2 months one time from stress.

if the HPT was negative you probably arent because this measures a pregnancy hormone.. The only way to tell is w/ a blood pregnancy test at the doc' s or hospital...good luck

Do a test. That's the only way you'll truly know.
