Hi. My cycle is 28 days. My period was due January 7th (Day 1 of the cycle). On that day, nothing occurred, but later on that night, I experienced brownish spotting when I went to the bathroom, but nothing else. Day 2 and 3 was virtually the same, nothing but a bit of brownish discharge and spotting. Not even enough to wear a pad, let alone a panty liner. It wasn't even enough to consider it a 'light' period

On Day 4, it stopped completely. I usually have a full 7 day period and it's always heavy! It's like I barely even had a period at all. I On days 5 and 6 I kept checking to see if it started back up, but there was nothing at all. It had completely stopped. Day 6 I took a pregnancy test and it said negative. But, I've been having headaches and yesterday (day 9 of my cycle) I had some pretty bad cramps in my lower abdominal region. Today's Day 10 of my cycle, should I try to retest again? Does it seem like it could have been implantation bleeding, and it is possible for it to occur on the day your period is supposed to start?

It happened to my sister, she had the same spotting/brownish fluid occur, that lasted on a couple of days. And it turned out she was pregnant with her 2nd child.

I had implantation bleeding the day of my missed period, and it lasted 2-3 days of VERY light discharge. My period is usually wicked heavy, so this was very different.

I would test with a really sensitve brand, because you could just be very early pregnant. First respponse and EPT work great.

I would not wait and I would buy another one ASAP--I couldn't wait when I became pregnatn!
