Trying to Conceive - October 2006

I heard that if you are trying to conceive that if you orgasim just before or a couple of minutes before a male ejaculate it can help get more semen inside the uterus. Does anyone know if this is fact or fiction?.

I want to get pregnant stopped taking the pill on friday the 6th of october. If I stopped straight away even if I was ovulating or a egg was released would that egg be fertile, or would have the pill prevented this even though I just stopped taking the pill all together?.

I stopped taking the pill on Friday the 6th of October. I was taking antibiotics before then and heard this can decrease the affectiveness of the pill. I want to get pregnant and ever since friday had sex on friday (once, saturday (twice), sunday (once), and monday (once), who thinks that it is possible that I could be pregnant?. I want to get pregnant so quickly but heard it can take a while to get back into your normal cycle after taking the pill. Does anyone think that I can get pregnant before christmas. My sister went striaght off the pill and got pregnant straight away.

I am a 26 year old mother of one, single by choice and financially independent.

I would dearly love to have another child to complete my family and give my son a sibling, without exposing myself to the risks of disease & abuse that can accompany traditional methods.

Has anybody used donor sperm, did it work and how to go about finding a suitable donor? Also what is a reasonable amount of financial recompense to offer the donor? (UK pounds sterling)

i had been taking yasmin for about 9 months. I missed an entire month, i got my period right after i stopped taking them. The last time i got my period was in early september. I live with my boyfriend and we do have alot of unprotected sex. We are completely committed to each other. We have talked about having kids, are thing is if we do we do...We both have agreed no matter what we will keep the baby. I was wondering what are ways to increase the chances more???

I'm 16 days past ovulation! i had sex around the time i was ovulating. After i ovulated a few days later i started having mild cramping and a few backaches. I was suppose to start around the 8th of october and did, but is a lot lighter than usual. Like can wear one pad and not have to change it all day! I have had cramping and some blood clots but is normal with every one of my periods. What are the chances of me being pregnant? I took a dollar tree test about three days ago and said negative! Could i still be pregnant and did anyone have a period while pregnant. I just don't know what to think since my period is A LOT lighter than usual!! Do you think i should test? and if so what brand of test?

i have always said through my life that i never wanted kids or get pregnant, and my boyfriend and i live together and have thought about having a baby, i am super scared and nervous but i wouldn't mind it now, we have planned out what we have to do and what we need and i think that we are ready and so does he.

How can i overcome being scared and nervous and swap it with the excitement and happyness sitting in the back of my head?

i had sex 3 days before (9th oct) my period and several times before that (including my ovulation date 28 sept) (unprotected) what would be my chances (high, low or moderate) of being pregnant?

when should i test? (i have a EPT)

I tend to have 50 day cycles, so i took clomid this month. I am on day 26, therefore, Wed will be two weeks from when i think ovulation may have been. Yesterday the sides of my boobs started to become sore. I took a First response this afternoon hoping that it would tell me something a little early, but it was negative. I'm not sure what to think. I really have a feeling the clomid worked. Usually on my 50 day cycles, my boobs wouldn't start hurting til day 38 or 40...so if they are now at day 26, would you think it's because i'm pregnant? I'm just thinking that if i wasn't and i was going to have a normal period...they wouldn't hurt quite yet. anyone been in this situation? I have no idea when to expect a test to be positive. You hear all these girls who got one at 10 days past ovulation and its discouraging. Thanks.

Started ovulating last night but husband was at work, is it too late to conceive if we have sex tonight? Mucus is still clear and very sticky and I am on clomiphene which i think is meant to increase the ovulation time? If anyone can help that would be great..

i just went to my ob/gyn and he is basically recommending me to be try Clomid..i know all the risks..especially the price...and i was wondering does anyone know any discount programs or insurance in michigan that covers it?? or is there a better idea than clomid.

I am ttc for 4+ yrs. My gyno referred me to a fertility spec./reproductive endocrinologist. I am wondering if anyone can tell me if they have tried IUI because this would be my first try and choice and if it doesnt work then try IVF a few months after that.

Is there typically a lot of discharge associated with this before a missed period? And what does the mucus plug discharge look like? I am not refering to later in pregnancy, when you loose the plug, but rather to very realy pregnancy when it is forming!

I had my last period on the 20/09/2006 and I stopped taking the pill (YASMIN) on the 06/10/2006. I don't know what my luteal phase is but been told I should set it to 14. I had spotting yesterday, but only very slight (a couple of spots). But really I want to know what are my chances in getting pregnant?. Does it take some time after taking the pill or in some chances can it happen straight away?. Me and my boyfriend had sexual intercourse on friday the 10th when I stopped taking my pill, then saturday (twice), sunday (once), monday (once). Should we be having more sex to try and increase the chances or is once a day trying to have a baby enough?. I am 24 years old and me and my boyfriend have been going out for 4 years. Do you think my chances are higher because of my age?. I was on the pill for about 3.75 years and have been told it can take some time. I really want to fall pregnant before christmas. Is it likely to fall pregnant. On a normal cycle I have 12 days till my period!

Blanching is what the doc must do to insure that insamination will take place, It is like a sperm analysis
for example in our body the egg will reject the sperm automatically if it will not work or not strong enough but when insamination is to take place you don't want to pay money to a doc and for the sperm not to have been mature or worst
so the doc analysis it and insure that it work

here are a list most I have a feeling I cant get pregnant but who knows my symptoms are:1) bloated
2)nasuea (in afternoon and in morning)
3) havent had my period in two months
4) dizzieness
5)small appitite
6)headache
7)moodwings
8) had intercourse about a monthand a half ago with my ex and he "you know"
does this sound like im pregnant of could it be something else I really want a baby but Im afaid to take the test ..dont want to be dissapointed again!

Here's my situation.. I started Ortho-Tri Cyclene Lo November 2003 and took it to help regulate my periods. I stopped taking it May 28, 2006 and had a regular period July 5, 2006, but have not had one since then, or any menstrual symptoms. My husband and I have been having sex (no protection). I've taken 2 home preg tests, and both were negative. I have been experiencing some crazy mood swings, and sometimes slight cramping, but nothing else. If I don't have a period within this month (October), then I'll go to the doctor's office and have them run a blood test. If anyone has any advice/comments/ or been in a similar situation, please tell me about it. My husband and I would be thrilled if I'm pregnant, but if not, then that's ok too. Please help!!
