if you have a regular cycle, you will ovulate 14 day after the first day of your period. then if you conceived the egg implants one week later and then a week after that is the earliest you can take a home pregnancy test. but the result could be a false negative if you don't have enough hg hormone in your system yet. its best to wait atleast a week after your missed period. some people have symptoms soon after implantation like cramping, sore breasts, and/or morning sickness. you have to be really in tune with your body to notice definate changes because some of the early signs of pregnancy could be mistaken as symptoms of your period. hoped this helped!

It generally takes a week past the due date of your period for a home pregnancy test to be positive without getting a false negative. This is from the pregnancy HCG to get into your system wiht a high enough amount for a home test to detect it. You can however, go to the doctor's and request a blood test. In my experience, if you're certainly pregnant home preggie tests usually come out positive within a few seconds.

My boobs started to hurt within a week, I took the test 2 weeks before my "missed" period because we were trying and it came up positive. I had implantation bleeding 2x, so I guess if I hadn't taken a test, I wouldn't have known.
