It can take up to six months for the hormones from the pill to completely leave your body. Six months from now if you still haven't conceived then I would begin to really worry. My husband and I tried for a year and I hadn't been on any birth control for years, so everyone is different.

6 months seems like a lifetime when you are trying. I know to you it seems like it is never going to happen but when a new little soul is meant to be brought into this world it will happen no matter how hard or what you do at trying...

I was just like you when i starting trying. I had just got off of the depo shot (had been on it for 3 years) and i got pregnant 12 months later.
When i stopped obsessing over it that is when i found out i was pregnant.
I got tore up every month when i started. Then it would make me think that something was wrong with me but once i stopped thinking about getting pregnant i did. I found out by taking a pregnancy test as a joke. I had one left and it was not even time for my period and i took it. (7 days before my period) and it was positive.

They say when you get to the one year mark of trying that is when you should see a doctor but you have only been at it for 6 months.
I got pregnant when we was just having sex on the weekends (he was away on the weekdays on work). But before that we would have sex every chance we got.

Go to http://www.mymonthlycycles.com and put in your period info and it will calculate when you will be fertile and ovulating.
It is free to join and it helps!!!

Just relax and have a good time with your husband.
Good luck

You need to pinpoint if and when you are ovulating:
The only way for you to know if you are ovulating is to take your basal body temp each morn, same time and before you get up. You should see a pattern in temps that leads up to and after ovulation. You can get the basal thermometer at Wal-Mart for about 8 dollars. I use a wonderful FREE website called Fertilityfriend.com...it graphs your temps for you, keeps track of your fertility signs, tells you when you ovulate and also tells you if there is an implantation dip in your temps. You can also use Ovulation prediction kits, but they only measure your LH surge and give you a ball park time for ovulation...they do not pin point it. Oh, and it is possible to be ovulating while you do not have your period, just like it is possible to have a period and not ovulate.

Try finding a website with instructions on how to chart your cycle. You need to take your temperature every day, check your cervix and mucous and learn when your fertile days are. Your temperature will normally spike, your cervix will become softer and your discharge will look like egg yolk. Your only fertile for 2-3 days a month! Good luck.

That happened to me I got pregnant 8 months after I stopped taking the pill, so don't worry, ask your Doctor and try to stay calm I know it is difficult to stay calm but if you worry I don't know what happens to your body that it is more difficult to conceive.
