Pregnancy - December 2007

i kind of feel like shouldn't she know by now to protect herself so she doesnt kill so many babies? and i know some will argue that they aren't really "babies" yet.

when would you consider a fetus or egg (i dont know what to call it) to start living? like when does it actually gain consciousness?

How soon did this work. i just want to hear some stories on it. i know for some it doesnt work and for some it does. so for the ones that it did work for. how many weeks until they stripped yours and also did it work and how fast did everything take place? if im 36 weeks when do you think the doct will strip mine?

Okay, I'm 17 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby. I've been noticing something strange that seems like the opposite of what I expected. I normally shave my legs like every 2 or 3 days especially in the winter. But, my leg hair isn't really growing!! I can go like over a week without shaving and still don't really have hardly any hair on my legs!! Isn't this backward. Happen to anyone else??

My BF came inside me last nite and I'd like to know how long it takes (3 weeks, 1 mth ?) to know that I'm pregnant ? And when is a good time to do a pregnancy test kit ? I'm at my fertile period now but I may not necesary be pregnant since his sperm count is weak.

What was the funniest/craziest thing you did while your hormones were raging?
For me it was bursting into tears at Old Navy when my husband told me he didn't want our cat in our christmas card pictures. I started sobbing in the check out line that "he's apart of our family too!!"

Hey everyone! I took 2 positive pregnancy test, both first morning urine, and i took 6 after that which were all negitive. I took them with my first morning urine. I took the clearblue digital, and ept, and some generic brands. I went to the doc. and another one was also negitive. I haven't had my period since oct. 18th, 2007 and today I just started spotting, it was really light, it's not my normal period.

What do you guys think?

HOW LONG IS A RESPECTABLE WAIT FOR HAVING ANOTHER BABY?

HOW LONG AFTER TAKING THE PILL DOES IT TAKE TO GET PREGNANT AGAIN? I HAVE BEEN TAKING IT FOR 3 MONTHS NOW, BUT BY THE TIME WE GET MARRIED IT WE WILL BE 9 MONTHS.

IS IT TRUE THAT THE 2ND PREGNANCY IS BETTER THEN THE 1ST? I HAD A FAIRLY ROUGH PREGNANCY THE 1ST TIME ROUND, SO IM HOPING FOR A BETTER ONE NEXT TIME.

ok i'm 9months pregnant...39wks.....i was just sitting down and watching T.V and i felt something wet in between my legs...so i went to the bathroom and my underwear was wet...sry.tmi..so i smelled it..definitely not a routine thing..and it had no smell at all!!! so i tried to use the bathroom just to make sure it wasn't pee...and i couldn't squeeze anything out so do you think i should call the Dr. to make sure my water isn't leaking or just lay low..i've had 3contrax since then all of them in my back...help plzzz...

My son is my first child and is only nearly 6 months old me and my husband want have other one after my son is 9 months old I hear that if I am second pregnancy again least a year which will be much easier birth so I wonder if is it true? and is it bad if I am pregnancy again by his 9 months old? Has anyone refused ultrasound scans in pregnancy? What was your reason?

I refused scans as they thought my baby was small, but I could feel her inside and knew she wasn't, just tucked up. She was 7.5lbs born so I was right, she was nice and average.

Hi, any advice would be appreciated! I stopped taking my contraceptive pill in September - I had a period within a few days and then a normal period last month. I am now 7days late this month but I am having heavy cramps in my abdominal area and lots of aching around my kidney area - not my usual pmt symptoms. However, I did a hpt when I was 3days late and this gave a negative result. Do you think I could be pregnant or do you think its still early days after coming off the pill? I dont think it is down to stress as we are not worried about the outcome we're just taking it as it comes, when it happens it happens!

Hi all, im 40weeks pregnant and have been told baby is back to back, i have been to hospital today as ive been getting really bad pains down below like im opening up or when baby moves it feels like hes twisting my insides out. i also told them that i have constant backache.They said its the way the baby is laying on my spine and its pressure dwn below, she didn't do a internal or anything,but tonight ive been getting pains in my back that are coming and going every15mins and lasting 53 second, they are not too painful but i think they could be getting stronger. it also feels like i need the toilet (no2) what could this be

I'm officially due tomorrow. And just a few moments ago I passed a long string of mucous and I'm having some slight cramping in my lower abdomen and back. Does this mean that labor isn't far away? How long did it take for you to go into labor once you lost your plug? Thanks :)
