Okay, I'm 17 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby. I've been noticing something strange that seems like the opposite of what I expected. I normally shave my legs like every 2 or 3 days especially in the winter. But, my leg hair isn't really growing!! I can go like over a week without shaving and still don't really have hardly any hair on my legs!! Isn't this backward. Happen to anyone else??

Omg I thought I was the only one!! im 30wks and I have the same thing. Its jus funny because they say your hair gets thicker and grows faster due to hormone changes but Im havin the opposite lol Not that im complaining its kinda nice.

When I was pregnant with my one and only daughter. My hair or nails didn't really grow at all. Normally or I should said un pregnant my hair and nails both grow very fast. I keep my nails naturally long, and it only takes a few weeks (3 or 4) and my nails if broken will grow back to full length. From cutical to tip of nail, my nails are normally about .5 inch.

During pregnancy, despite takig my vitamins my nails were brittle, would break and barely grow. My hair was very short before I got pregnant. It was barely touching my shoulders when I gave birth. And it wouldn't style right for nothing. I recently had my hair very short again(ear length). I haven't gotten it trimmed since March, and now it's already past my shoulders.

(Not currently pregnant. ) Just wanted to clarify.

I wish I had that problem. Mine is the exact opposite. I have to shave every day, when I could go 2 or 3 days before.

Pregnancy has a way of changing everyone, and all in very different and various ways. Do not believe all the myths you believe either! Be thankful cuz it's less work for you to have to shave that often. And, hopefully, it might stay this way for you!

It's not unusual. I had the same thing with my first and third, but all the rest made me grow hair like a sasquatch! Congrats!! and good luck!

old wives tale... says if you need to shave less than normal then you will a girl.
More than normal then you will have a boy.

Good LUck

They say that when your hair grows slowly that the baby is supposed to be a girl

A woman I used to work with had this very thing happen to her. Supposedly the baby is going to come out very hairy!

I'm hoping this happens to me! :o)
