I'm late - what does it mean?

Hi, any advice would be appreciated! I stopped taking my contraceptive pill in September - I had a period within a few days and then a normal period last month. I am now 7days late this month but I am having heavy cramps in my abdominal area and lots of aching around my kidney area - not my usual pmt symptoms. However, I did a hpt when I was 3days late and this gave a negative result. Do you think I could be pregnant or do you think its still early days after coming off the pill? I dont think it is down to stress as we are not worried about the outcome we're just taking it as it comes, when it happens it happens!

Hmm, I still haven't started my period and i'm def not pregnant as i've done another test. The cramps and everything have gone now too. Is it possible to miss a period for no reason or should I be concerned? Somebody told me its not the pill cos i've had two normal periods since coming off it

go see your doctor for a blood test. if you had unprotected sex, you could be pregnant.

Well, could be either... it's easy to get prego when you first come off the pill, I'd take another test today, if it's BFN then chances are you're about to start and may have the period from hell... you're body's way of regulating! Good luck and baby dust to you if it's the right time! (Oh, and get the digital test... more expensive, but WELL worth the right answer!)

you may be preggo. but if you just went off the pill that could be it too. i would wait and take another test. i think it may also depend on how long you were on the pill. never been on it so i only know what others have told me. good luck

there is a posibility that you can be pregnat try taking another test. it could just be becuase you got off your pills that its messing up your period. thats what it did to me.
