I went out to breakfast and i couldn't fit in the booth due to my large belly! They had to seat us at a table instead. It was pretty embarrassing. Does anyone have an embarrassing pregnancy story to tell?

I dont know what else to do!!! I am fully effaced, was not dilated as of last Wednesday...dont go back to doctor's till this Wednesday. I have been doing yard work all weekend, walking everyday for about an hour, cleaning the house, even the kitchen floors, and having sex!!!

I cannot get this baby out of me!!! I am going crazy. I dont sleep, nothing helps, not a shower, a bath, milk!!! They have given me meds in past...not helped!!! I cry every night to my husband bc I am so miserable!!!

I cannot do this anymore...I am truly going downhill. I called out of work the last three days. I have the rest of this week, and then I am on leave!!! I dont think I will make it!!!

Please help!!!

I didnt tear or anything, no episiotomy, no stitches or anything! It has been almost 4 monthes since I had my son and the only reason I haven't had sex is because someone told me that it would hurt. I need to know from someone who didnt have stitches or tear, does it hurt to have sex after having a baby???? And will my vagina be loose or did it tighten back up?

Today is warm and my daughter and I sat on a hill in the sun. I am 28 weeks. The snow is almost melted and suddenly lady bugs were crawling out the ground and onto me! All over, from up to 2 feet away! The crawled onto me and stretched their wings for the summer. Some started flying around me. They were not interested in my daughter, just me. Some sat on my belly and just sun taned their. Others were restless and crawled on and off of me. After about 20 minutes there were about 15-25 ladybugs all over me and the ground around me. I am in the house and my daughter is collecting the ones that are still on me for her jar.

Anyone else had nature (not cats or dogs)... find themselves drawn to you in your pregnancy?

Today she asked me if I think an abortion would be right for her. I don't know what to tell her. She is really scared and she knows that she can't afford to have a child. She has a great boyfriend and he supports her decision either way but she can't decide if she should keep the baby or not. She has no job and no money saved in the bank. Having this child would be very stressfull on her and her boyfriend. She told me she needs help deciding. What should I tell her?

We had alot of issues throughout our relationship due to him not being honest w/ me and out flirting and talking nasty to girls on the side. Moved in together - then found out about all of this, broke up....2 weeks after breaking up found out we were pregnant, he is soo excited and cant wait to be a father --- and although we get along PERFECTLY now. its still sooo hard emotionally for me....sometimes I even feel like I'm not excited about this because the situation is so crappy - i thought he'd wanna be a better honest person and maybe we'd find a way to make it work but he tells me he isn't in love with me anymore but he does love me and wants to take care of me and the baby forever. He kisses me, cuddles with me, and makes me feel great - but emotionally its really effing me up. I'm 13 weeks now and want to be excited but I'm so confused at the same time. Any suggestions how to get over him?

My period isn't due until eight days from today. I think I'm pregnant because I'm having a lot of the early symptoms (cramping, nausea). I took an ept test yesterday and the results came back negative. Can I still be pregnant?

Ok, I had my first pregnancy doctors visit today... where they do the gyno exam, and all of that stuff. But my doctor was sick and she won't be able to see me until April 25th. I am 9 almost 10 weeks already and when i go to see her I will be 14 weeks... starting my 2nd trimester. I was wondering if it's ok to see the doctor that late for the first exam. I was looking foward to hearing the heart beat and things like that. But, is there anything I should be doing to insure that my 1st trimester goes ok? Already on prenatal vitamins, but since I haven't been examined or anything... should I be concerned if the baby is ok? How do i know if it's a tubal pregnancy..? I was looking foward to the doctor putting my worries away.... but it will be a while before i can see her... any ideas or information about what should be done? Thanks!

Please take some time to yourself to do some research on this subject. you CANNOT have a period and be PREGNANT!!!Question: Can you be pregnant and still get your period?

Answer: Well, no, you can't get your period once you're pregnant — once your body starts producing the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) and your pregnancy is established, your menstrual cycle is interrupted and normal periods stop. But you may have bleeding or spotting during pregnancy that can seem like a period.

Some pregnant women have what's called "implantation bleeding" that can happen around the time their period is due, and they may mistake that bleeding for a period. This spotting may be caused by the fertilized egg burrowing into the blood-rich lining of the uterus, a process that starts just 6 days after fertilization, and it's generally a lot lighter than a typical period — just a day or two of very light spotting.

If you're pregnant and you're not sure when your last period started, this can make establishing a due date difficult for your healthcare provider. If you have any doubts, your provider can feel how big your uterus is with a pelvic examination and estimate how far along you are. In most cases, your provider will also order an ultrasound before the middle of your pregnancy to measure the size of your developing baby and clarify exactly when the baby is due.

Many women who bleed a little bit in early pregnancy deliver without any complications, but bleeding can also be a cause for concern. It may be the first sign of a miscarriage. If so, your symptoms probably will go on to include heavy cramping and bleeding much heavier than a normal period.

Abnormal bleeding can also be a sign of ectopic or tubal pregnancy. If you have sharp pains in your lower abdomen, especially if the pain is only on one side, you should see your practitioner right way to find out if you have an ectopic pregnancy. A tubal pregnancy can be life-threatening, and sometimes the only symptom is bleeding around the time your period is expected. Often, the period may be lighter than usual. Sometimes a home pregnancy test will be negative, and the pregnancy can only be detected by checking blood hCG levels.

If you bleed at all early in your pregnancy, it's best to notify your doctor or midwife to get specific instructions. She may suggest getting a blood test to check your hCG levels or order an ultrasound to evaluate your condition more thoroughly.
