Its primal.
I was swimming and had to get out, the WILD dolphins keep coming up to me. [thought they were sharks-scary to me]
The cattle, goats and oddly enough human "fathers" all gathered around me as to protect me.
That is HOW I found out I was prego- I commented that men and woman were corralling me like a pack of animals to the pregnant and young ones......and I tested and was right.
We had been trying for years and my iregular (off/on) wasn't strange at all... So it was a real cool thing.
When I was really prego, My cats love to sleep next to the baby and ( he is 4 now and that is still the case). My parents doberman, always stayed with me, when I was there, he never let me go to the bathroom with out him. So it is a blessing.

Wow you know this is an incredible and awsome story I hope you write it down on the baby's book because is amazing and very real. Although I can not give you a scientific explanation I truly believe that some things are not meant to be understood but to be lived and you just had the most beautiful experience with nature both inside your body and out..
I thought I was crazy when I was pregnant there was always butterflies around me when I used to go walking to pick up my son to school that happened many many times until I gave birth...so yeah I believe you :o)
God Bless

Ok this sounds strange but last summer my step daughter my husband and I went fishing and found a turtle. We decided to keep it and brought it home and put it in a tank. Last week the doctor told me that I am 2 cm dilated and would probably go into labor soon. Two days later "Mike" our boy turtle started laying eggs! "She" has now been laying eggs every day. My step-daughter thinks its because I am pregnant and about to have the baby. Also when anyone puts their finger on the glass of her tank she always snaps at them, but now when I do it she sticks her head out of the water as far as she can and just stares at me. Its very strange.

My daughter is due in about 4 weeks. She has mentioned to me from the first of her pregnancy that her cat loves to sleep on her tummy. If she can't get to her tummy, she gets as close to her as possible. My daughter is a nurse and had never heard of that. Her baby, according to the doctor, is healthy and doing great. So I surely don't think you have anything to worry about. But isn't it an interesting phenomena?

That is a really cool story. The only thing remotely similar that has happened to me is my cat following me around the house like a baby. She has to sleep with me every night, usually wedging herself between my feet or squished between me and my husband. It's adorable, but at the same time we keep wondering how she will react once the baby is born.

Cool. Sounds a unique experience.
Sounds silly, but my daughters hamster seems quite attached to me and is calm when i pick him up. Also, small babies up to 1 year (crawling age) in my daughters creche try to grab on to me and cry when i leave the room. Really weird. It is like a mothering instinct aura around you when you are pregnant.
My friend went to Cuba when she was 27 weeks pregnant and swam with dolphins. She said the dolphins seemed really close to her and like on an ultrasound, the soundwaves were detected by them. They were really gentle with her and nudged her belly!

That's an awesome story...sounds like a cool experience. My cat loves to lay and purr on my stomach. I'm on bedrest, so I'm the only one home during the day. My cat loves people, so there is nothing he likes better than laying on my big fat tummy and purring. Who knows? Maybe the baby can feel it. Maybe the animals feel it kicking.

our Yellow Lab would get up on the couch next to me and lay with his head on my lap. He's normally like a grouchy old man!
