I cannot get this baby out of me!!! I am going crazy. I dont sleep, nothing helps, not a shower, a bath, milk!!! They have given me meds in past...not helped!!! I cry every night to my husband bc I am so miserable!!!

I cannot do this anymore...I am truly going downhill. I called out of work the last three days. I have the rest of this week, and then I am on leave!!! I dont think I will make it!!!

Please help!!!

I know exactly how you feel. I am 39 weeks and last week the dr said I was 2 cm dilated and 80% effaced. I was hoping to have gone into labor by now. My belly itches so bad, I have heartburn that keeps me up all night long, the baby kicks and moves so hard it makes me cry. I have literally flipped out on my husband at least 3 times to the point where he was ready to walk out. I am so emotionally and physically drained that sometimes I think I am going to have a mental breakdown before this baby comes. Unfortunatley there is nothing we can do about it. The baby is the one that triggers labor so if he's not ready he aint coming! I know it is hard. If it gets too bad I would ask your doctor what he recommends. Its not good for you or the baby to be extremely stressed out. Good luck and hang in there soon you will hold your little bundle of joy in your arms and all will be right in the world!

I used to be 37+6 and having my night bathtub. I hadn't had any indicators of labour or misplaced my plug or whatever. Suddenly I simply inspiration I did not consider fairly proper and simply had this on the spot urge to desire to understand what the time used to be. Then I felt good enough. Then a couple of mins later I felt humorous once more. I. Can't give an explanation for the sensation however once more I simply had to recognise the time. It used to be four mins later. I had those bizarre emotions for the following hour earlier than I spotted I used to be getting cramps after which 10 mins later those had been each and every two mins and began to harm I known as the health center as I simply knew it used to be labour they usually brushed aside me pronouncing it used to be my first, I used to be early they usually had been more commonly braxton hicks. I mentioned I did not care and used to be coming in. Well 6 hours later I had my youngster!

HI there. Oh goodness I know exactly how you feel. I'm 38 weeks and 3 days . (Due April 7th) and I want her out now, i just cant take it anymore. I can maybe give you a 'dishonest' suggestion...When I was pregnant with my 2nd child...my husband wanted to have our son out so badly. I was due on may 17th and that day it was the 17th.... anyway, he sez to me, " why dont you just tell them you fell down the stairs!?" Well I was shocked he said something like that, and ad dumb as it sounds, I done just so. I called the hospital and said I fell down the stairs. they said to come in right way to do a fetal movement test, then they said, "well since its your due date, we shouldnt have to keep you waiting any longer, we will just induce you." thats what we were hoping for (especially my husband) and he came a few hours later. I know it was wrong and I shouldnt have done it, but we couldnt take it anymore. But anyway.. I wish you and your baby the best of luck and CONGRATS!

You will make it. Calm down and remember this is the last time you will be able to actually sleep for a few months. You so anxious to get this baby out, you are not taking care of yourself. If your body is stressed, so is the baby. That is not healthy. Think of that too.

I know this is going to sound weird but my hubby and I had sex one week before my due date (not that just once either) because we heard that sperm could actually make your water break... well it did, problem was Nik WASN'T ready... After 20 hours of labor and the highest dosage of pitosin they could give me, I never dialated past 9 inches and had to have a c-section. Sad to say, I wish we'd never had sex that night... I think I really did need another week. ;)

Just remember it is best for your baby to come when he or she is ready. It's the last leg of the marathon you can see the crowds at the finish line. Good Luck to you and RELAX!!
