because they don't know what protected sex is like birth control .or because they make poor judgements and want to kill a life for it.this is a subject i dont want to go no farther. There is no reason for it!!!!!!

because unfortunately many women only think of themselves- ok before I get comments about a woman being raped- let me answer that one this way- I am sorry for the woman who was violated- it is wrong- punish the man not the innocent child. Do not punish the baby for the sin of the father. Selfishness is the number one reason for abortions- I know I counsel women who are considering having them. Some women actually tell me "I know that it is murder, but I need to do this because I cannot be interrupted in my endeavors to raise a child, or carry the child and then place for adoption". That is selfishness if I ever heard it!! One thing I know - a baby should be called a gift, not a choice.

This is a very easy question to answer by using Google and searching state statistics as they ask this question on the forms and report it annually. There are many reasons and many situations and they vary by the area of the country as well as the age of the patient.
You should compare that with the numbers of babies that are abandoned in the US. Here's a link to some information on that. There was news item last year on ABC news that reported that currently, an average of 37,000 babies are abandoned each year just in hospitals. This link predated that report.

Expect to get various answers for this question!
Some women are raped, some are on their own, some are poor, some are irresponsible, some are too young, some are poorly, some used protection but it failed them. These are a few reasons why women would get an abortion.
Not saying i agree, especially with abortions over 2 months, but every woman has their own choice and life situations that they feel is right to do.
At the end of the day, if a woman has an abortion, think how that woman will have to live with her choice for the rest of her life and will probably hate herself for it. It isnt going to be easy for her!
And anyone who gives me a negative thumbs down for this, a thumbs down for you for not opening your mind what a woman could be going through. Not saying i agree with abortion, but simply saying until you know the situation, you should not judge.

because they are stupid I don't think there should be any reason to have an abortion just look into a babies eyes right after birth If you have ever lost a child at a younger age or even a teenager and then look at these freaks that abort then they cannot have a heart. and this is my opinion and it is like an asshole we all have one so there.

Do you mean why do some people get abortions? Simple: they don't want to have a kid at that point in thier lives, I assume.
