If you are "regular," as in have a 28 day cycle with a 14 day luteal phase, that means you are ovulating on day 14.
Sperm can live for several days inside you, so you are most likely to get pregnant aobut 3 days before, and about 24 to 36 hours after you ovulate. So, I would say days 11 through 15.
Once the egg is dead, its dead.

2 weeks from the start of your last menstrual period is when you ovulate for 5 days you can get preg from 2 days prior to you ovulating to 2 days after you ovulate. Also your body may ovulate at different times so there is not safe way of knowing exactly when you ovulate unless you are intune with you body and how you feel.
