So sorry! The same thing happened to me several years ago. It was in the middle of the night and I felt my womb become very round and hard, kinda like a small watermelon inside of me. By the time I got to the bathroom, out it came with a lot of blood. But the baby was still attached to the placenta so my husband had to cut the cord with scissors while I held the baby. I then examined him, held him, and gently kissed him good-bye before we placed him in a shoe box. My husband, in the meantime, had called 911 and the ambulance took me to the hospital. The next day, I had a D & C.
I now have three healthy children. So don't lose hope that you may not have another. Keep the faith!

It is different for everyone and every m/c. I had a friend that bled for 8 weeks. This happened last summer she is due with her 4th child next month. I have another friend that lost so much blood so fast that she passed out and they had to take her to the hospital in an ambulance to have a D&C. She now has 2 healthy boys. My sister-in-law has had 5 miscarriages. All of hers have been different, she had one that all the tissue didn't come out and she had bad cramping she went to the doctor and he was able to remove the remaining tissue and her cramps stopped almost instantly. She now has 3 kids. I had a "blighted ovum" and bled for 4 weeks. The cramping was just like a really bad period. My pregnancy before that I found out at 10 weeks that the baby didn't have a heart beat. I had a D&C at 12 weeks. I personally prefered the D&C to the natural m/c. With the D&C my cramping was minamal and I bled for 2 weeks. Ask your doctor if he/she would do a D&C.

I have done it 3 times and I was 8 weeks along on one of them and it was kinda painful ( VERY ) bad cramps and heavy bleeding but It lasted like a period (5 days) just Very heavy in the 5 days. I might ask for some pain med's or take Tylenol or some thing. It started and ended within 5 days and I have never had problems expelling the baby ( I have never had a D/C...it is better not to have one for scaring purposes) but if you do not start passing in the next few days go back to the hospital.

I was 10 weeks when I miscarried and it only took about 10 days to pass everything and to stop bleeding. I did not have to get a d&c. I was not able to determine the time that the fetus passed, I believe it was too small and I couldn't tell. I'm very sorry about your loss and I know what you are feeling. Be well and good luck, as all women are different in what happens.

You are going to miscarry, and the doctor knows when it's going to happen? That's almost cruel. Hang in there.
I have miscarried. It didn't hurt, just made me sad. It's like a heavy period with a mass. I kept the mass and gave it to my doc at the hospital for them to biopsy. It will happen suddenly. I don't remember cramps or discomfort. I am sure your doc will make sure your uterus is ok afterwards.
Hugs to you and good luck.

Your in my heart, that is a horrible thing to go through.
Each one is different, it depends on the person, the pregancy.
Mine was far worse than most I was told and it was 1005 worse than actual labor or birth.
I had a DnC done when I was miscarrying. I would not stop bleeding and the pain was unbelieveable. I didn't want anymore pain. I was 4+ months along and it was a horrible bloody mess for me.

Anyone who miscarried have different experiences. I miscarried at 3 months and almost didn't make it due to excessive bleeding. Talk more with your physician, only he can tell you what you're up against. Good Luck

Loosing a splash one for any reason is amazingly no longer hassle-free. yet I constantly knew that God had different plans and that i might see that infant sometime, up in heaven. I certainly have 2 toddlers to work out and love when I get there. You sound very lonely and he sounds exceedingly mushy, in line with possibility too mushy in case you get my waft. i may well be slightly in touch. This marriage desires to flow decrease back to being under an identical roof if it is going to stay to tell the tale. 4 yrs of working out of the country purely somewhat can't be properly worth your marriage and kinfolk life. My gosh his son grew to become into 6 yrs previous and now he's in double digits, that can not be good for him the two. i might somewhat attempt your toughest to get him residing house to stay or you 2 flow there.. good success and keep in mind, God has his very own plans and we purely can no longer question it.. be grateful you're nonetheless healthful and right here on your loved ones..
