Pregnancy - February 2007

Does the first trimester end at 12 weeks or 13 weeks....all the websites say different things...thanks for the comments in advance!!

Ok, I'm warning you all now.. beware. lol..

I went to the restroom about 45 mins ago and when I got done using the bathroom, My panties were soaked.. I asked a couple of women that I work(this is my 1st pregnancy)what it could be. Most of them said I'm leaking. I know what that means. My husband, my mom and everyone else is telling me to call my doctor and at least tell her.. I see her at 8:45 in the morning. I have had contractions but, they only last for about 15 seconds and are about 40-50 mins apart. My last one was at 3:22pm. I was just curious on some opinions. Thanks so much.

I have heard cleaning can start labor. Is this true and if so how. I want to start it but sex is too painful right now, and I dont wanna try castor oil. Any suggestions

I've been sex with my husband and I though that I'm prenant although I did 2 times with prenancy test with "not prenant" in result. But I worry that I'm prenant due to my period time. Now I'm wondering that when I can use prenancy test after I'd sex. Could somebody help me ?

i had unprotected sex on dec 6th but he pulled out brfore he**** I know you can get pregnant from pre***.I took 3 tests all negative and got my period in dec. 2 days late and in jan & feb. 2 days early the blood was same color and same amount and I had it for 4 days as usually. I went into the hospital from alergic reation and had blood tests they didnt tell me I was pregnant or that I was but if I was wouldnt they tell me? what are the chances of me being pregnant?

ok i AM pregnant but i think i may have an ectopic pregnancy because i get bad cramping sometimes and it feels like i have to go to the bathroom and then when i go to got to the bathroom i dont have to anymore and it hurts so bad when i have sex. like in the middle of having sex it will hurt so bad i have my bf stop. we dont have sex anymore because of it but i cant get into the dr. any earlier than march 14th. please tell me whats going on! i dont want to lose my baby.

Well i think im 37 personally because they say you can be either 2 ahead or 2 behind what they say you are. I have always measured @least 2 cms more than i was suppose 2 be and have always had everything happen to me earlier than most girls. IE . contractions ( braxton hicks ) i found out what i was havin when i was 14 weeks. I dont know .. haha but anyways..
The past couple days i have been feeeling so much pressure in my lower belly, past the belt line. I also feeling him moving around a lot down there and moving more than usual. He used to be very active btu stopped and now he is again. I have also been very tired and getting pains throughout mylower tummy to my sides & back. I cant tell if my baby has droppped. They say if your boobs dont touch your stomache anymore, but mine never have. Do you think its my time soon. I havent gotten checked yet to see if im dialated. next apt is march 7th.

let me explain my self...i've bee n on the pill for a while but i'm having symptoms of being pregnant everything but missed period and vomiting..... i dont know what to think...my test says negative but i think i should take a blood test..my stomach is getting bigger and i feel fluttering in my lower stomach (under belly button) what should i do ? if i was i would be 8 or 9 weeks.... can someone tell me what do you expect when youre 8 weeks pregnant?

...Ok Here's My Dilemma, 1st I took 3 HPT, 1 tested + the other 2 was -. So I Went to the Doctor for A Blood test and it turned Up Positive.. A Few Nights Later I took another HPT and it turned Up Positive.. But When I Went to the Dr. to See How far along I was. She said She Couldn't See the Baby (they did a VUS) and My HCG level is Only 37.5..So they requested More Blood... What Exactly Does all this mean... I'm So Confused?!?!?

I am a little over 27 weeks and I know my baby is fine (I have a dopplar at home and this morning his heart rate was 150), but I have not felt him move at all today. I am used to him kicking some during the day especially after lunch and today nothing. Yesterday he was really quiet too, only felt him a little after dinner...is this normal.

I just lost a baby girl at nearly 22 wks. Everything seems so hard, and I just know I'll die of heartache/heartbreak/ and just plain ole lost of my heart. I live with my mom, dad, and brother, but I'm sure they just don't want to see me suffer. That's really no help in the griefing process. My dad has already talked to my sister about me going to Florida for a little while, so that may be relief, but who's to say that's for sure. I may come back even more jacked up than when I left. I'll just be leaving behind a house. My little girl was IN me. What can I do to forget myself?
I'm trying to locate a therapist before I go insane, but who knows how long I can handle all this pressure. Pressure to be okay; pressure to have hope in anything else; pressure to actually move forward.
People keep telling me to write. I don't FEEL like writing. I don't even FEEL like eating. I'm just completely out of my sorts.

well i have researched the menstrual cycle and how to avoid becoming pregnant, and honestly i still don't get it. I read over and over again, and still i don't get it. Now, i know the best sex is abstinence, and surely i'm trying to avoid having sexual relations, but in any case, if it does end up happening, i want to know what days can I NOT become pregnant, with or without a condom. My teacher said once that condomns are only 99% safe like birth controls and that there's that one percent, meaning 1 out of a thousand times you have sex or people who have sex with a condomn or using the pill, there will be 1 person who will become pregnant...so i want to know what days can i not get pregnant. I approximately get my cycle every 35-38 days. Can someone help?

Has anyone heard that repeat ultrasounds can be dangerous? I'm 25 weeks and just had my 6th. Should I be worried about them causing potential harm to my baby? I recently read an article that they can cause problems with brain and cell development. Anyone else heard about or experienced anything like that?

Okay iam 13 weeks pregnant, yes iam a 1st time mom...iam currently taking my prenatal vitamins but ive heard other women talk about also taking calcium vitamins...should i also take calcium vitamins, and if so which ones do you guys recommend...My doctor is well aware of me only taking my prenatal vitamins, and she didnt specify anything about calcium pills...Help!

I am currently 32 weeks pg w/#2 my daughter is 2. i have been w/ their father for almost 4years. he does not physically abuse me but he does emotionally (he doesn't even know he is 1/2 the time). I am completley sick of feeling like **** and having to do everything but i'm not sure what else to do. for the past 2 years he has only worked for 1month i have had to pay all the bills, clean, take care of daughter go to school and deal w/ being pregant (orginal plan was for him to work so i could finish school-i'll greaduate in april with a ba in psych/soc-no thanx to him). i have been telling him that once the baby comes i won't have a job that he needs to do something-nothing, it is still all on me. for the 1st year of my daughters life he had a really bad drug problem-which caused a lot of built-up anger, trust issues and problems b/w us. latley he keeps going on about not wanting kids or being ready for them (which hurts me-he acts like i got pg on purpose 1st was on bc 2nd stupidity
