Depending how far along you are that may very well be normal. 37.5 is within normal range if you are only around 14 days post conception or 35 days from your last period.....
Other than that your blood should be taken in another 48 hours to see if your hcg level rises. If it does not, then your doctor will let you know what they plan to do from there.
Good luck

They are checking beta hcg levels to see that the levels are doubling the way they are suppossed to . With my 6th pregnancy I went in at 6 weeks and 5 days and they did and ultrasound and said they preg test was positive but they couldn't see a baby. So they sent me to have blood work done every other day for a few days then I had to go back for another ultrasound and low and behold there was my beautiful little angel. She is now 15 months old. They thought I may have developed another partial molar pregancy like I had with my son that I lost at 16 weeks. Hope this helps.

You are either too early in the pregnancy to see the baby (5 weeks or less) or you may have a blighted ovum, which is when the baby doesn't develop but the sac and yol sac form and put out hcg so you would test positive on a pregnancy test.

They want more bloodwork to see if the hcg levels are going up. They may do another vag u/s to see if they can see a baby.

Good luck!

This happened to my Aunt. After having blood drawn for 2 weeks 3x per week the Dr. was able to confirm her pregnancy. It turned out that when she had taken her first test she was between 1 and 5 days pregnant...so early it wasn't exactly showing up.

you probably aren't far enough along to see the baby. I think levels are only 25 when you are 4 weeks along and then they double every 30 hours until they reach a certain point later in pregnancy. If they are retesting it is probably to see if the levels are going up which insures there is a pregnancy.

It may simply mean that your not far enough for the hormone to be detected properly. It also depends when you took all the tests, they say that the best time is in the morning, as the first pee of the day is at its strongest.

The most important thing is that you haven't bled? Don't worry too much, you just cause yourself stress, and good luck x

it means that you may not be too far along and they are trrying to determine what is going on if your levels double then things are fine if they drop then you are going to lose the baby as well it could mean that you are having a tubal pregnancy which you will have to lose to keep your health so with the blood test they will look at your levels and let you know what is happening

It either means you are very very early in the pregnancy or the pregnancy is not viable. I'm sorry for your situation and I hope everything turns out ok.

This happened to a friend of mine. It turned out that it was just very early in pregnancy and everything was fine.

well it could be that you just aren't far enough along to produce enough hormone. Or it could be that the baby isn't developing
