Your baby's getting bigger and losing all that space he had. The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago (I'm at 37 weeks). Since caffeine is okay in moderation, crack open a soda and enjoy it. That got my daughter moving again. I told my doctor about it at my appointment a few days later, and he said that I did the right thing. He also said if it happened again, and caffeine and/or sugar didn't get her moving, to get to the hospital.

I'm 25 weeks 2 days pregnant so pretty close to u
and my baby did that yesterday wasnt moving very much
at all
and im used to him moving and kickin up a storm but it seems whenever my bf (my baby's daddy) is around he is really quiet
but he still is being pretty quiet today
he kicks every now and than but not as much as im used to at all
baby's have there up and down days just like regular ppl
if ur baby goes a few hours without a movement at all then I would say call ur doctor see what he or she says
good luck with everything
ps. I read those two links that women above me sent u and it says 27 weeks OR 7 months or 28 weeks to try those tests
I have read in the book " what to expect when expecting "
that babys do have there up and down days and if u have been busy today u might have missed ur baby's movement or kicks but if u dont feel anything all day I would call just to be on the safe sside

I have read and heard that babies can sleep up to 95% of the time. I found it amusing that on weekends my little one is hardly moving. I brought it up to my Dr's attention and he said since I am more active on the weekend she gets rocked and goes to sleep. I work in a office and sit most of the day so the baby is active since I am resting. You should be fine, don't worry. At least you have a dopler at home and can monitor the babies heart rate!
30 weeks, 6 days with my first!

I am 26 weeks with my second and I know how scary it is to suddenly notice your baby hasn't moved for a while! I get worried everytime.
If you haven't felt him move all day, then lie down on your left side and poke your bump for a bit, if you don't get any response from that then wait 2 hours and try again, if you still have not felt any movement then call your midwife/doctor

its is a bit odd. im 25 weeks along now and it seems my baby kicks all the time. just relax though. he is getting bigger so it maybe just that he has less room to move around now or he could be in a postion that makes it harder to feel him kicking. call the doctor they ask to stay informend and see what he wants you to do about this. in the mean time drink a coke and see if that gets him hyper and he starts kicking. its a trick you can do before an ultersound too if you want to see the baby move. good luck and congrats.

Any varaiation from your baby's normal activity level should be reason to call your DR. asap. Regardless of what some women say, it is NOT normal to have a decrease or cessation in movement the farther along you get. I am leaving a couple of links to back my answer up. Your baby's health is nothing to take lightly, and if you have a concern, you need to call your Dr. right away.

well, id say do the test...eat something sweet and then after 30 min, lie down, and if you can count 10 movents within two hours everything should be ok, but remember, fetus' have sleep periods just like newborns

Call the doctor just to be safe. That happened to me time to time and it was nothing just the baby sleeping. I called the Dr. and they monitored the baby just to be safe.

As babies get bigger in the womb, they loose space to move around. I would call your doctor though to put your mind at ease.
