the only thing i took when i was pregnant was the prenatal vitamins. i ate mcdonalds, spicy foods, and (ugh) smoked the entire time i was pregnant, my baby (who now is 3) turned out just fine. she was heathy when she was born and still is. I would say that you dont need calcium vitamins. just drink milk, eat cheese. the only reason those women are talkin about calcium vitamins is having a baby pulls alot of calcium out of your body so in order to keep your teeth pretty and your bones in workin order they take calcium.

You need to ask your doctor before you add calcium pills. You can actually overdo the vitamins. If your current prenatal vitamin has all the calcium needed, a supplement should be unnecessary.

if you are taking prescription vitamins, they probably have enough in them already. i take prenatal that are over the counter, so they do not have enough calcium or folic acid. getting enough calcium is very important. not so much for the baby because it will get all it needs from you. however, if you are not getting enough, you will be the one who goes without, causing osteoporosis later in life.

Take some Tums every now and again (it's a calcium supplement). Towards the end of your pregnancy you will get heartburn and acid reflux so you won't be able to live without them.
Tums are perfectly safe. I like the orange flavor.

I wouldn't think you'd need to take them if you are eating enough things with calcium in them, but if worried you can always get the tums with calcium and take those. It will give you the heartburn relief and extra calcium.
Good luck, and i wish you the best with your pregnancy!

I only took prenatal vitamins through my pregnancy. I would say that unless you dr recommends that you take additional supplements then you should be fine with just your prenatals.
Congratulations!

At 14 all try to be to at least one yet another is maximum suitable buds. savour your friendship. even if it truly is meant to be extra, that is going to stand the try of time and and the separation in case you bypass to distinct colleges. And in case you've been no longer meant for another, who's prevalent with, perhaps you 2 will be existence lengthy pals...it truly is so uncommon, and so impressive :) So, end irritating about romance, and concentrate on the mysteries of algebra, because even if you 2 are meant to be at the same time, having a sturdy paying job is a impressive ingredient to have :)

If your doctor's not concerned... I wouldn't worry about it. If you are eating enough calcium rich foods, that should be good.
