I was diagnosed with preeclampsia, and my doctor prescribed bumetanide (Miccil). I took 1 mg a day for 22 days until I read it could be harmful, is it?

each time i heard my babys heartbeat, it was beating fast. the doc didnt say much. but i was just wondering has this happened to anyone else and does it have to do with salty foods.is iron and prenatives the only pills to take

I m worried about my labor as it is not beginning yet.My doc told me that she expects the baby to be og 8 lbs till now .M worried why m not going in to labor as my baby may gain more weight in the mean time .Can anybody who is experienced suggest me that what shud I do to speed up my labor.Doc tells that my cervix is just 70% thinned since last 2-3 weeks no progress furthur.Please help me what shud I do to control the baby s weight??

As a doula, it's my responsibility to inform my clients of their options and the pros and cons of them...and then support that decision. I believe the best decisions are informed decisions. However, I've noticed that a lot of women don't have accurate knowledge of the pros and cons of epidurals (and other hospital procedures available). I'm wondering if this is true for the general public or it truly is the popular informed decision when birthing in a hospital. Before anyone gets upset, I am fully aware that it's a personal choice. I also understand (first hand) that sometimes it is very necessary.... and for that reason, I am glad we live in a country and time where technology can save lives. With that said, like everything in this world, it can be abused by using it too much. So, what does the general public feel that the pros and cons of getting an epidural are during labor/birth?

Hi i was just wondering if there is a limit on the age you have to be before you can get sterilised?? im 22 and currently 21 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child and i have decided i defo dont want anymore after this one and was thinking about getting sterilised but everyone keeps telling me that they will not sterilies me as im to young is this true????

On Dec 20/21st, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend at the end of my period. I've been reading that it is possible to get pregnant on your period-which is fine. But I was wondering how early I could take the test? It's been two weeks tomorrow, but I've been reading that you have to wait till your period.

how far along in a pregnancy can you be before you require an operation for the removal of a baby who has been miscarried?? i guess what i am asking is.at what point is surgury necessary? i know that in early pregnancy you can just bleed and cramp for a bit and that's it..but what about if you're further along?
if i was 5 months, for example, would i just cramp and bleed? or would i need to go to have an operation?

and also on top of that have your period??
bcuz i took more then one urinating pergnacy test and it came out negative but my stomach looks like i would be preganat...... its getting bigger (and im a pretty small girl) and its round and i mean it looks like a pregant girls stomach in the beging of her first few months not to large though but it is a bigger stomach then i had a few months ago...
p.s besides the fact i think im getting bigger in my stomach area my boobs seem to have grew a little more and the guy im with even had said that they got bigger..and my best friend who i havnt even told her anything yet( bcuz im scared of what she'll say) had a dream i was pregnat with the guy im with now a

My dr recently called after getting the results of my 20 week ultrasound and said that i have complete previa, meaning the placenta is completly on top of my cervix, he advised pelvic rest and all of this, and said he will talk with me more at my next appointment which is in about a week. Im really nervous, has anyone had this and what was the outcome? This is my third child. I had natural births both times. My dr said there is a chance that it will move when my tummy grows more, can this happen? What are the chances of it moving? Tell me all you can please!!!! Thanks so much!

Im looking for answers from average sized women.
at 24 weeks how much weight have you gained so far?
I have lost more than anything, total weight gain for me. 1 POUND!!!! whats the normal, I would like to know how bad this is, my doc isnt worried, but I am! (and who can help it- if I gain a pound a week from now on- thats only a total of 17 pounds!)

How exactly does the stomach flu make you feel?

My school was cancelled over illness, and I got it.. but someone made a stupid comment "you're not pregnant are you? i felt like i had the flu when i was pregnant" now I'm worried and don't know if i may be or if its just a stomach virus i caught..

i don't exactly "feel" pregnant like most women say, i just feel nauseated to my stomach 24/7 and threw up yesterday, feeling dizzy and faint, with hot cold chills, those have now gone away and all i feel is sick to my stomach and i dont have an apetite.... so what are symptoms of pregnancy vs the symptoms of having the stomach virus?

I normally wear a size 6 in womens shoes. I am 21weeks pregnant with a baby girl and wearing a size 7 shoe and they are feeling pretty tight on my feet. i have gained about 15 pounds, how big are feet gonna get? they did not swell but a 1/2 size last pregnancy.

How much weight did you gain during pregnancy? I want to hear about stories about weight gain, I have gained a little over what the doc expected me to. And now I can't help but feel really horibble. Bad enough I am having severe mood swings.
