On Dec 20/21st, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend at the end of my period. I've been reading that it is possible to get pregnant on your period-which is fine. But I was wondering how early I could take the test? It's been two weeks tomorrow, but I've been reading that you have to wait till your period.

Sometimes you have to wait before the hormone can be detected. Sometimes you can get ure result 3 days before ure period or as long as 10 days after a missed period.
Probably best to wait a bit =)

Most reliable tests will allow you to test 4 days before your expected period. However, even tho' it is theoretically possible to conceive during your period, most 28 day cycles are only fertile on days 12-16, which is a week and a half after your period ends. Day one is the first day of your period.

Wait until you are late. I found out I was pregnant 3 days after my missed period. Don't rush it. The pregnancy test may not pick up on your pregnancy so soon. So it's a waste of like 1million dollars since pregnancy test are so expensive you may want to just wait.

First off, you can't get pregnant while on your period. You can only get pregnant when you are ovulating (about half way between your periods).

Next if your regular 28 days between periods, you could go ahead and test and if it shows positive and you are still concerned take another in a few days or call the doctor.

Hope this helps!

Yes, wait until you get your period. Of course, if you get your period, you won't NEED to take the test, so it's kind of amazing they make money on those things, now that I think about it.

My opinion is convinced you ought to attend. Too many cases unpredicted issues take position like very early miscarriages and whatnot and in those circumstances that is better effective to not have universal about it because there grow to be not something you ought to do about it. I waited 14 days after neglected era before I examined and that grow to be exceptionally precise.

The earliest home tests are the new ones.. they can test up to 4-5 days before your periodis due. The doc can do one now.. but most likely it will be negative
