My husband and I are expecting our first child and my husband is really excited! That's great, but he has started nesting and cleaning the house like crazy. I am only 6 weeks pregnant! Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how do I get him to calm down??

I've heard when your about 28 weeks before your due date they cathederize you to see how the baby is going. How does the catheder feel like? Does it hurt? And do they actually do this 28 weeks before due date?

My girlfriend and I had sex without a condom a month after she started taking the pill. She's recently started to feel nauseated. Is her body still adjusting to the pill and that's what's causing her to feel sick or should she take a pregnancy test to be safe?

If she takes a pregnancy test will it be accurate since it's only been two weeks since we had the unprotected sex?

ok this is like a 3 or 4 part question..when did u first feel your babys fluttering movements? when did u notice them more often and stronger? when did the baby start to kick to the point u could definitely feel it and last...when was your mate able to feel the baby?thanks everyone =)

if I can buy iron and folic acid and maybe other vitamins that one needs during pregnancy by just going to the drugstore or I need a doctor's prescription. I'm asking cause I'm in costa rica and in here I can get them by just going to the drugstore and I'm traveling to england in a week but I don't know if you can get them the same way in England, Thanks

if last month i had a period off and on for a week and half to two weeks and now i'm getting pregnancy symptoms along with a linea nigra, could i be pregnant? the symptoms didn't come until a month later, so i know i didn't have a miscarriage and the doctor said everything looked good when i last seen her. i also took a pregnancy test and when looking with a certain light i can see a blue line thats really thin. i did have the same brand test and screwed it up, so i know that if evaporation lines was a possibility the other test would have something on it too and it doesn't. i was not using protection and i would love to be pregnant right now, my husband would too. that was a cvs brand test and the ept i took- had a line going up but not down, so it was a incomplete plus. i just want some suggestions if this could be a pregnancy? oh and does a linea nigra show up for any other reasons if you have the symptoms and no i am not diabetic..a nurse says you can get it early if your overweigh

i am 14 and i am pregnant. i have to make one of the biggest decisions of my life. i really have no clue what to do. do you think it would be wrong to have an abortion? having a baby is going to mess up my life so bad. if i had an abortion i know that would mean i would have to kill my baby but im not old enough to have and take care of a baby.
and its not like people won't be there helping me and everything because alot of people are going to be there for me. the daddy wants me to keep it. please just think about it.. if you were 14 and ended up pregnant what would you do. you really have to think about it. having a child is HUGE. i don't know what to do.
[by the way for all you people out there who are going to say that i should have thought about that before i had sex at the age 14. DON'T. i already know that. i was stupid and made a huge mistake but i can't do anything about it now]
i need to know what you would do if you were in my shoes.

i am 36 weeks pregangnt and i am freaking out about giving birth!!! i have no idea what to expect and i keep on hearing all these stories from people and it is just making things worse!! i cant handle pain very well and i am deathly scared of needles and the more time i am pregnant the more i keep thinking about it and the more i keep freaking myself out!! i am too scared to do this!! i just wish it would be over with so i dont have this fear insidde me i am kinda stressing about it. i am just worried. any suggestions on how to stop worrying?? yea yea i know it will be fine but seriously i cry because i am too scared to do this i cant wait for my son to be here but the process just freaks me out. what if something goes wrong?? did ne one else feel like this?? help please!!!!

how did you know you were about to go into labor??? or did it just like hit you?

what methods did you try to pop your baby out???

im afraid of castor oil, heard it smells bad, and taste just as rechid, so what else other then herbs can i try?

does pinnapple really help soften the cervix? because i ate a WHOLE one to myself last night, had a HUGE craving for it!!!

i have sore boobs irregular period ttc for some time and very naseua and moody and cramping(dull and twingy off and on) like im going to start but i don't its been like this for two weeks and i go to the doctor thursday i would like opinions please! plus i've been getting heart burn alot too.. i pee a little more as well???

I know this is a long shot but since December (about a week before my period) I've been tired, moody, gassy, sore back/breasts, slowly yet steadily gaining weight in the abdomen even though my eating and exersizing have stayed the same. These feelings have been constant since then. I've been getting my period, but ever since december it has been lighter than normal and irregular( always a 32 day cycle, but recently 36 and 40 day cycles). I've taken a few hpt's and have taken a urine test from the doctor, but they all are negative. Instead, I was told to get bloodwork for hypothyroidism, which came up negative. Does it seem as though I could actually be pg or do you know of what else could be causing this?

when i was 15 i got my first pap smear, and it came back abnormal, i was told that plenty of young girls have abnormal pap's so i didnt go back like recommended. well at 17 i got another pap smear, and this also came back abnormal, i was planning on going back, and then i found out i was pregnant, when they did the initial pregnant pap, i never got word back on how that came....im now 38 weeks pregnant, should i request another pap before i have my baby, or would this affect results??? i just want to make sure everything is ok, i mean, the dr said i didnt have any STD's, seeing as they screen you for those, and didnt mention anything more...

I just found out I am having twins and I was wondering if I need to be taking more folic acid besides what is in my prenatal vitamin....I fully intend on calling my doc. tomorrow, but I just wanted to know what you guys' experiences are in it. Did your doctor up your dosage of folic acid when you were pregnant with twins? Thanks to all of you in advance!

When a woman is aroung a pregnant woman on a regular basis, will it cause her to get pregnant more easily? Kind of like when two women spend a lot of time together their hormones get in sync and they get their periods at the same time?

Well about a month ago i had sex and the condom broke. I took the day after pill. The same thing happened to me the week after and i took the pill once again. Twice a month and i still havent had my period and i would like to know if its because of taking the pill a week after the other or am i just pregnant??

Can any body shed light as to why sex has been horrible during my pregnancy, I absolutely hate it. Very few times I like it but I never want to do it long at all I just try to hurry up and get mine then stop.Please tell me this is due to my pregnancy some how,what can I do. is it better having a natural birth or a drugged epideral ?? the thing is that, i want a natural because i can be proud of accomplishing it. because i know it's the most painful experience, but it's also the best experience that many women have. then when it's all over with, you feel like you're amazing and that you brought this little baby in this world.

I am almost 20 weeks, so 5 months and I don't even look pregnant. Still fitting into all my normal clothes. We've heard the heartbeat twice though. Does anyone have any reason for this or have you experienced this yourself?
