everyone is different. I didn't start showing until I was 8 months. Everyone ones bodies are different. If you are skinny or fit you are going to show sooner because you don't have extra fat. Me on the other hand had some fat that I could spare so I didn't start showing until very later. I still fit into all my normal clothes.

I didn't show for a long time! I can't even remember when I started to show. In December I finally outgrew some of my pre-pregnancy clothes and I was 7.5 months pregnant!
I'm 40 weeks now and people still think I'm about 6-7 months pregnant... meanwhile my sister who is about 6 months pregnant now, looks almost as big as I do! It just depends on the person,
If you're worried about your baby because you aren't very big, DON'T! Babies grow at their own pace :)

At 20 weeks I fit into all my clothes and people couldn't tell I was pregnant. At the end of my 6th month I woke up with a big baby belly. It can happen overnight. You could be one of those people that never really shows. I know a lady a tiny little thing whos 7 months and you wouldnt know it at all. If you want people to know your pregnant, start with maternity shirts. Many of them announce literally that your expecting.

When you show depends on a lot of things. If this is your first you don't show as fast. It also depends on your build, Height, weight, bone structure, etc. My sister in law and I were pregnant at the same time. She didn't show until around 6 months, I started showing at about 3 months. She started out at 110 lbs and only gained about 13 lbs. I started out at 115 and gained 60 lbs. At 9 months she looked like she had a volley ball under her shirt. At 9 months I looked like I was having triplets. When she came home from the hospital with her baby girl, she looked like she had never been pregnant. When I came home from the hospital with my baby girl, I looked like I was still pregnant. It took me 7 months to loose it all and get back down to 115.
As long as you and the baby both check out okay at your doctor visits, I wouldn't worry about a thing.

Some women, especially heavier set women, don't start showing until late in their pregnancy. I didn't start showing until about 4-5 months, but I also had my daughter at 6 months into my pregnancy so I don't know how much bigger I would have got. Every woman is different and shows differently. Have you gained any weight at all...your doc should be keeping track of this and if he hasn't mentioned it, bring it up. He should be able to tell you how much weight you have gained and how much you should gain during your entire pregnancy and ease your worries about the whole thing.

Pregnancy is different for everyone. I am 7 months and I get the question all the time if I am expecting. Some people believe you carry sexes different also. I was told the old wives tale that carrying boys you don't get as huge as girls. Which would make both my pregnancies true. Also if you are a little heavier that can make it harder for you to show.

Maybe morning sickness got ahold of you. Then again sometimes women gain the most weight during their second and 3rd trimesters. If your Dr isnt concerned I wouldnt be. You should be getting weighed each time you go. You will prob start gaining weight in the next couple of weeks but make sure that its not a rapid weight gain because thats not healthy for you. ( that is the kind of weight gain that causes stretch marks) Good Luck and congrats!!!!!

Im 18 weeks and not showing and have not gained any weight yet. A lot of times its not until the 6th month that you can "tell", everyone is different. As long as your doctor is not concerned I am sure its fine and count your blessings because you'll have less to loose after your baby is here=).

You sometimes hear of people who don't even know that they are pregnant till they are in labour.A friend of mine didn't know she was pregnant till she was nearly 25 weeks, and that was her 3rd pregnancy! You will start to show soon enough, but untill then, enjoy the fact that you can still fit into your pre-pregnancy clothes..
