Pregnancy - January 2007

Yesterday I went to my doctor and instead of doing blood work first they did an ultrasound. On the ultrasound they saw nothing except something round in my ovary. They began getting worried because they thought maybe it was an ectopic pregnancy. However, my blood work came back with 958 as the HCG. I asked and they said that it may be just too soon to see anything...has anyone else had this happen to them? Is 958 a bad number to have? The first day of my last period was Dec 20, 06. I couldn't be more than a few weeks along...should I be afraid something is wrong? I'm not bleeding or in severe pain just achey and tired.

Is it 100% effective if taken properly? and when does it not work? ie wut medications might limit its effectiveness?

Yesterday I took my first pregnancy test after a month of TTC. It came out positive! So then I took the other one b/c i was in such shock.... another positive! and then this morning i took yet another test and it was ... Positive! ok so i get it im pregnant. i went to my doctors this morning and the really didnt do anything but talk to me and refur me to an ob/gyn. she also gave me a script to go get my blood taken for 100% certainty and a urine and some other test? they took 3 or 4 vials of blood! just wanted to know whats next now ladies? and also i DO have insurance but i have a 500 deductable so how $$$ was this blood and urine test? any help?

I just turned thirteen weeks today for my pregnancy. I heard my baby's heartbeat last Saturday (01/27/2007) and doctor said it was good. The next day though, I don't feel any of my symptoms of pregnancy. I'm not nauseous anymore. My breast are not sore anymore and my areola that has been sore for 5-weeks straight are not sore anymore. I'm so worried that something happened. Did anyone ever went thru this dillemma too and everything turned out fine? Please, experience mothers or people who are currently pregnant. PLEASE ANSWER! You know it really angers me at the number of teens that are intentionally trying to get pregnant by either tricking a guy into it, or just being selfish and thinking a baby would be fun and not thinking of how much of a responsibility it is to raise a child. I mean look at all of the couples who would love to have a child and then you see all of these irresponsible young teen-aged and even pre teen-aged girls getting pregnant because of entrapment or negligence. This really disturbs me because I don't think that people who are having kids for all the wrong reasons should be blessed like they are and the people who do deserve a child can't have one. Ugh this really does annoy the hell out of me

ok, a couple weeks ago i found out my sister was pregnant, and i thought that was cool cause at the same time i was trying to get pregnant, but a couple days ago she told me she had a miscariage! then just yesterday i found out i am pregnant!!! i was gonna tell her, then she said "if you end up being pregnant, please dont tell me" ok, but then i remembered that i told my sisters that if i ever had a girl i would name the middle name one of there names (simone, samantha) but i dont want to not pick one and not the other, so can anyone tell me a good way to maybe mix there names?? im sorry this is so confusing, but it is the best way i can get it to sound. please help

I am measuring about 3 1/2 weeks too big. I already had an ultrasound schduled in 4 weeks and my doctor just said we would check it then. Should it be checked sooner? I have to do a gestational diabetes test but not until next week. Has anyone had this problem before, and how did things turn out?

I have recently decided to start a more healthly lifestyle again, I gave it up 2 years ago. And so now I dug out of my drawer a bottle of one a day weight smart vitamins, and now I see they expired on april 2005. so is that mean they are bad or just like another way to get you to buy more? I used to work at a place that had "stamps" on items only because government demanded it be done. Thanks

feeling better because the vomiting stop but now started again i don't now what to do i am so tired sometimes i tryed for the headaches tylenol but it dosen't help starts again.
