Sounds like you have a migraine.. I get those alot and I told my Dr about it and she gave me a rx for Midrin. Tylenol just does not work for me after my headaches turn into a migraine.
Anyway I would call and let the Dr know cuz there are things they can give you that are safe while pregnant..

I'm sorry you are feeling this bad. I have extreme headaches through the beginning of my pregnancy. They were killer. I never really wanted to take tylenol cuz I had them so often. Heat always made mine feel better, I can't say they took them away though. I would lay in a dark room with a sock filled with rice and heated up in the microwave and it does stink some so might not help with the sick stomach but made headaches easier to deal with. I never had morning sickness but I would ask your doctor aobut it and they can prescribe something stronger for you for the headaches and the morning sickness, Hope you get to feeling better! My headaches are gone now, I am 24 weeks.

well first off Tylenol is about the best. You should have your blook pressure checked. If you have a history of high blood pressue this could be causing your headaches. You also want to make sure that there are no other risk factors in your family such as diabetis . Sometimes these cause problems like you have discribed. When in doubt it is always better to play it safe and make an appointment to see your obgyn or Intermedicine doctor, they can help you more than an internet
Below is a site of doctors and people that maybe able to better help you.
Good luck let us know boy or girl

You should ask your doctor. Headaches are common in pregnancy because of the crazy hormones, but frequent and severe headaches could be an indication of blood pressure issues. Also, if you're vomiting often enough to keep you from getting enough calories, the doctor might be able to prescribe something to help you. As someone who suffered from severe nausea and vomiting in my first pregnancy, I really feel for you! I hope it gets easier soon.

Do you take neonatal suplements? (vitamins for pregnancy)
if So, you may want to stop them and see if that helps, at times the Iron in the neonatals make women sick. Some women have no tolerance at all for iron. Try replacing them with Folic Acid suplements (you can get them overr the counter at any pharmacy)
Keep low sodium crackers availible for you at all times, avoid acidy or spicy drinks/foods.
Make an appointment with your neonatal care worker (or OBGYN) and get her/him to prescribe an anti nauseau medication (i.e PROMETHAZINE) that can be safely taken during pregnancy
Gravol can be found over the counter, read all medical instructions before taking, and ask pharmacist/doctor what dosage would be safe during pregnancy.
* Schedule an appointment if you get worse, or go to an emergency room if you have pain/cramps in abdomin or back
DO NOT TAKE TYLENOL!! it can be harmful to the fetus, and some neonatals vitamins do not mix well with Tylenol or Advil.
good luck!

Headaches are fairly common throughout pregnancy. I had them myself, but since you seem to also have a bad bout of morning sickness, your doctor might be able to prescribe something stronger than Tylenol for you. You should bring it up at your next appointment. Take care!

Whoever said to use Advil is wrong. Advil is Ibuprofen, which you should NOT take during pregnancy.
IF you're taking prenatal vitamins, those could be causing your headaches. I remember when I was pregnant, the prenatals I took gave me horrible headaches. Once I stopped taking them, the headaches went away.
Also, if your blood sugar is low, that could be causing the headaches.
You really should ask your OB/GYN about this stuff.

well, its normal.... as i have figured out pregnancy is not a lot of fun. for your nausea they sell pregnancy pops/candies at babies r us and motherhood maternity stores which helped with my bausea ALOT. for your headaches you could try (it sounds silly i know) putting some clear deoderant on your forehead (idea came from my doctor) also, make sure you getting enough sleep, and you might want to find a sinus medicine that safe during pregnancy (your headaches could be from congestion, which is very common)
Good luck and congradulations on your baby
