Get a good lotion with Shea Butter in it. It is very soothing and is great for keeping the elasticity in your skin, which is probably part of the reason it itches so badly. Try and find something with vitamin E oil in it because it will help minimize stretch marks. Good Luck!

The itchy belly is your skin streaching to make room for the baby...When I was pregnant, I put palmer's cocoa lotion (for strechmarks, walgreens sells it, their brand works just as well, by the way) not only in the mornings and at night before bed, but also every time my belly itched. Not only did it relieve the itching, it also helped some with the strech marks....Congratulations and best of luck.

Its itchy because its stretching! DONT ITCH. To make it easier on yourself, use a dry skin body wash instead of soap to make your skin less irritated. Moisturize like crraazzzy. Bio oil is good, but apply it atleast 2 or 3 times a day. I use Aveno for dry itchy skin, because it stops the itch and its super moisturized. Good luck, and DONT ITCH lol

At most Maternity clothing stores and at Toys R US they carry a spray made by Palmer's for itchy skin. You spray it onto your stomach after you shower and rub it in. You can also use it throughout the day as needed as long as your skin is clean. I use it all the time, and it works great. Wal-Mart and Target might carry it too, but I'm not sure. They will for sure have it at the places I mentioned above.

I use jojoba oil and also tummy honey they even have an anti itch stick that I carry with me and apply whenever it strats getting that way. Just remember to keep it moisturized all the time! Avoid harsh soaps that can dry out your skin and as hard as it is try not to itch, it will make strecthmarks worse.

Be careful of the soaps you use as some can be very drying. This is the time to pamper yourself with some really good body care products!
