I just turned thirteen weeks today for my pregnancy. I heard my baby's heartbeat last Saturday (01/27/2007) and doctor said it was good. The next day though, I don't feel any of my symptoms of pregnancy. I'm not nauseous anymore. My breast are not sore anymore and my areola that has been sore for 5-weeks straight are not sore anymore. I'm so worried that something happened. Did anyone ever went thru this dillemma too and everything turned out fine? Please, experience mothers or people who are currently pregnant. PLEASE ANSWER! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!

Oh honey... you are entering your 2nd trimester. Most of the symptoms of early preg are reduced or relieved! You can actually 'enjoy' being pregnant until your third trimester when you become large and uncomfortable. Most new mothers are astounded at the relief of new pregnancy symptoms by their 13 or 14 th week. Your breast tissue has adjusted to the fluid retention and stretching sensations, the nausea and vomiting have subsided, and your body is getting "used" to being pregnant!

If you are really overly concerned to the point where you are driving yourself crazy.. or you're bleeding or having any other ominous symptom that requires medical care.. go in to your OB and have them perform an ultrasound (vaginal or abdominal if possible) and take an HCG level to see if the pregnancy is still viable and intact. However, it is likely that you've just entered your 2nd trimester and your body is adjusting normally.

Good Luck!!! :) Please E-mail me and let me know if this helps you!!!

If you have made it to twelve weeks and have heard the baby's heartbeat, chances are that the baby is fine. I agree with the advice here, you have entered the second trimester and usually symptoms ease up dramatically during this time. Having had a couple of miscarriages, though, in addition to live births, I will say that if the symptoms were severe and suddenly stopped, rather than a gradual reduction in symptoms, you should call your doctor. If you bleed, suffer a severe headache or notice that your breasts have shrunk or your waistline is slimming slightly back to pre-pregnancy, then you should definitely call your doctor. If the office staff tries to put you off by telling you your symptoms are normal, insist on an ultrasound. Your peace of mind is really important. Ultimately, you should remember that most pregnant women get a bit nervous when pregnancy symptoms disappear in the second trimester and it is no cause for concern. As we all know, the rate of miscarriage drops dramatically at the twelve week mark and if you made it that far, you are most likely just fine. Good luck and go with your gut, you're a mom and if something just doesn't feel right, insist on getting it checked out, better to be able to enjoy this time than spend it in a state of anxiety or fear when it can be so easily alleviated.

I have been pregnant 4 times and the symptoms I had the first 3 months all seemed to go away around that time. Also, around 6 months, many came back, like being very tired, stomach feeling sick, having to use the bathroom more, etc. That isn't a guarantee, but hopefully all is well with your baby. Worrying isn't good, so don't get upset.

You are in your second trimester now and it is not unusual for this to be the time during your pregnancy when you feel your best. Your body and your emotions are coming to terms with the pregnancy. It is typical to have more energy and less morning sickness, which may disappear altogether. The last trimester will often be reminiscent of early pregnancy with excessive tiredness, frequent urination, sensitivity to foods, aches and pains. Your growing baby will exert pressure on your body plus your emotions will again be in an upheaval as the birth of the baby grows near.

Like everyone else said, your symptoms disappear in your 2nd trimester so you are right on track. At this point, the placenta is fully functioning like it should, and therefore your body is not under as much strain as it was during the 1st trimester, so most women feel GREAT during this time.

So, enjoy it while it lasts because once the third trimester arrives and you start to get bigger and bigger, well, let's just say there's a whole new set of discomfort to face! LOL

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations- you have weathered the first trimester of pregnancy.

Prepare for the NICEST part of pregnancy.

:-)

Babies hardly ever go from being "good" (as your doctor put it) to being unwell to the point that you need worry.

In fact- your own symptoms of unwellness lifting is sign that the doctor was right- you are on course.

Consider yourself lucky- SOME of us feel dreadful throughout!

I was like you though- I went from week 14 to day one of week 15 as though we were talking different lives. One minute I was ILL and the next I was glowing and sexy looking!

:-)

All is well. But if you are truly concerned give the doc a ring to reassure yourself.

It's common, especially at 13 weeks. The first 12 weeks are usually the worst and after that (MOST) women see their symptoms go away, either a little at a time or all at once. Don't worry! Good Luck!

Your body is probably use to something different growing inside your body by now. I never experience morning sickness thank God. In the beginning of my pregnancy, my breasts were really sore and then one day I woke up and they didn't hurt anymore. It is perfectly normal. If anything, call your doctor and chat with them. I'm sure they won't mind.

its ok this is normal, you are reaching the second trimester and that is usually the most comfortable for women (usually) dont panic, be happy that the other symptoms have gone away some women have to deal with it all they way through. i had the same thing happen i didnt feel pregnant again until i started to feel the baby move. you'll be fine.
congrats!
