Am i pregnant. How would we know why dont they take a pregnancy test or use there common sense. It annoys me as I would never ask that question. Women get syptoms like pregnancy every time of the month when there due on.

I just found out I am pegnant, my last period was Dec.13Th. On Dec the 28Th I recieved a tetnus shot for a severe burn, I did not yet know I was pregnant will this have an impact, even though the conception was so early.

I am 13 weeks pregnant today with my first. Last night i was laying in bed and thought i felt a fish swimming in my stomach. I only felt it for a couple seconds and it was gone as quickly as it came. I was just wondering if it could have possibly been the baby that i felt moving???

My stomach feels so tight and it feels like it's twisting inside. I feel sick so bad right now! I haven't vomited. Can anyone expain the typical signs of pregnancy to me? I would be totally grateful!

I am getting cramps on my right side that are quite painful....It has only happened twice now, but they really hurt! They don't last very long, but I am afraid that there could be something wrong? Can ligament stretching be that uncomfortable? i woke up this morning to it, it hurt so bad, and I was laying on my right side when I woke up? Could that be what caused it!? If you have any info I would greatly appreciate it! I am a first time mommy and have have 3 miscarriages so every little pain and ache worries me! Thank you!

My left nipple is not the same as my right. It looks like there are 2 nipples put together. It is very embarassing. I am pregnant and am wondering iam i going to still beable to breastfeed? Dose anyone know why they are different? I know there is only one hole in the nipple where the milk passes. Please help me on this one. thanks

I need some advise. I am an emergency room physician and have just been temporarily suspended because a patient made some complaint about me during her pelvic exam. I have no idea what the complaint is, or who the patient is. i do know this--I always take a female nurse into the exam room when I perform the exam. I am always very appropriate with my exams, very respectful, etc. Anyone have any advise on what I can do other than get the testimony of the nurse? I have to meet with hospital administration soon. I am thinking that even if the nurse states that I was appropriate, the hospital will just go with what the patient has to say--she may have felt violated because she is excessively insecure about herself or mentally unstable and I will just get screwed over when I did nothing wrong.

...but the problem is i'm not married and my boyfriend has expressed how much he does not want a child yet. he says he does eventually, just not yet. But here's another problem, its easy for him to say that b/c he's only 26. I on the other hand am 37 and as we all know, i might not have much time left. i already have an 8 year old son from a previous marriage and my b/f is soooo amazingly good with him i cant even put it into words. he treats him so well and my son absolutley adores him so i have no doubt that my b/f will be a great father. how unethical is it of me to not take my b/c pills and claim it was an accidental pregnancy??? we have been dating for over 3 years now, so its not like an accidental pregnancy would be totally impossible...i know my b/f wants to be a father eventually and i love him very much, would it be wrong of me simply have him be a father just a teeny weeny bit sooner than he planned on account of i am 37?

Is it possible for your water to break as early as 25 weeks or even less? I guess it probably IS possible but what would cause such a thing in an otherwise "normal" pregnancy??? Is this a common thing ??

If i had sex end of december, early january got my period..so now i feel a little off wondering if i ate something bad, have virus or pregnant. Due to get period on thursday so i had no sex for a month and got the pregnancy test yesterday even though i wont have my missed period until thursday the test was negative...what do you all think?

When I had my first Dr. appt (at about 8 weeks) he said that I was overweight and I could lose weight. I told him that I'm not very hungry, nauseated, and I drink tons and tons of fluids. I've been sleeping ALOT. He said that that was fine and my baby would take all the nutrients that it needs from whatever I do eat during the day. He said that I could lose 40 lbs and still have a very healthy baby. I'm kinda confused. I know that I'm overweight to begin with. I know with my pregnancy, b/c i am overweight, I shouldn't gain too much weight. But losing 40 lbs during pregnancy? Is that really healthy for me and my baby? Yesterday started the beginning of 11 weeks for me and I've lost 13 lbs already, even though I'm not trying. Thanks for any answers :)

I'm 24....never had sex, but well, some people have done things in the bed I sleep in...bro has masterbated in my bed...... and I noticed that my period was late in December....late by 8 days. This month (January, it was like 2 days earlier than last month). A couple days ago, I noticed these bumps on my aerola. So, I dont know what to think now!!!

My girlfriend & I had a mishap approx. 22 weeks back. & because of this mishap, we've both been worried about the possibility of pregnancy. Readily admitting she's justifiably been a tad bit more worried than myself, due to the fact that pregnancy @ the age we're at is undoubtedly frowned upon. Our situation is definitely a case of fear reigning superior over what many would believe to be common sense. She's gone through nearly 11 pregnancy tests, she's been to Planned Pregnancy, where the nurse said she was not pregnant, & up until now she's shown no signs of pregnancy. Lately, she's been growing a "pouch." Although, it is not drastic, it is apparent. What I find odd is that it's only now occurring, @ 22 weeks. If she's not pregnant, which I am more lenient toward, what would be causing this pouch? She has been gaining, not losing weight, so weight gain is out of the question. Any help would be appreciated.

before my pregnancy i weighed 135 and now i weigh about 150-155 and im 5 months. My doctor told me that i gained to much, but my nutritionist told me that i should be gaining 4-6 pounds a month and i have been. My doctor said its because i refuse to drink skim, 1 or 2 percent milk. I just want to know if she is right and did i gain to much?

First miscourage was at 18wks and later I was told due to womb septum(later removed)and incompetent cervix.
Second time I had cerclage at 15wks.At 18wks cervix was OK(36mm) but at 20wks I started opening and stiches were loose.
I was pointed to hospital.I had no contractions.Bacterias eshericia was found and was treated with antibiotics.At 22wks I had recerclage.At 23+2 I started just a little spotting and at 23+4 I suddently opened totaly and gave birth.
Baby died after 4 days.Same bacteria was found in his body (but not in placenta!).
One doctor told me this happended due to IC and bacterias. The other one told me that my womb was just not developed ok which is why I had the septum and why my womb cannot stretch enough to hold the baby so it starts opening when the baby starts to significantly grow.Afterwoods I did some blood test but all's fine
Could it realy be that my womb can't stretch enough to hold through the pregnancy?
What are then my chances for future pregnancies?

I had sex with my gf and the comdom broke and i went inside of her. about 15 hours later we got the Emergancy Controceptive pill. Then a week and a half later she got her period but was shedualed to get it on like the 20th of january. Now its 7 days late and shes been feeling sick in the morning and during the day. I am freaking out is she pregnant?

Before I got pregnant, I had no clue that docs count 40 weeks from your LMP. So how is the zygote developing in those first two weeks if it actually has yet to exist? And in actuality, 40 weeks results in 10 months, not 9!! And so if I am 7 weeks along, that actually means my babe is only 5 weeks old. I don't even know if I'm asking a particular question here, lol. Just wondering if anyone else has stumbled upon all this info and only learned of it after becoming pregnant.

I had a culture swab done at my 36 week appt. (It was a swab of anal/vaginal) Doctor now told me I have a bacterial infection which is normal during pregnancy but can hurt the baby during delivery so shes going to give me meds for it when I go into labor.

Is this normal???

how do i use the chinese gender calendar? i dont understand what they mean by lunar age,they say add 9 months to your current age to get your lunar age..but that would be the same age either way right? so,should i just look at my age now,what month i conieved and get the result like that? since this has worked for so many people i wanna try it..thanks
