Pregnancy - January 2007

It's more like all day sickness for me. I am 4 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing pretty bad nausea and dizziness off and on for the past few days. I was just wondering if there is any type of motion sickness medicine that I can take for this. If not, is there anything else I could do that would help? I have a daughter that is almost 2 so I have to constantly be up taking care of and playing with her so I really don't have time to be sick. Thank you for your help!

I am 22 years old and my husband and I have been trying for a year to get pregnant without any luck...we just werent expecting this... I have a doctors appointment on Thruseday.. 1/25/07 and I will see what happens.. Please wish me Luck...

shes sleepin late til like 3 in the afternoon, eating food at 2am(like chicken, fries, ice cream etc) constantly moody , constant headaches what is that a sign of?????????

I know that pregnancy tests usually only work after you miss your first period. Women in my family(even me) usually still get their periods for 1-2 months ino the pregnancy. when will i be able to take a test without it saying negative, if i am pregnant? too early = negative results......

ok, so my fiance keeps talkin about having kids but he told me how i should be careful with having cats in the house because they affect the baby when I'm pregnant or they can even prevent me from getting pregnant at all. is that true? its not just him who told me this, i've also heard it from others.

My husband and I have decided to try for another baby..I had my period Nov.15th 2006 and did not go back on birthcontrol..Had a period on Dec.15th but now I was supposed to start on Jan.14th and didn't.It's almost a week later and I took a pregnancy test but it said negative..Could I still be pregnant..I don't feel like I am going to start but I don't feel pregnant either..

I think i might be but im not sure. cant get hold of a test for 2 weeks. im 5 days late and im normally clockwork. Me and my fiancee have been trying.my boobs are tender, and i cant stop eating everthing i can get hold of. those are the only things that have changed. does anyone have any clues? would really appreciate it as we cant wait to be parents!! thank u x

I think i might be pregnant, but I don't know if it is just in my head. I had sex around the middle of my cycle in December and since then i have tried drinking alcohol twice, both times I ended up getting sick, which I rarely get sick after drinking alcohol. I got my period Jan 2 but it lasted for 2 days. The week before Jan 2 I had a lot of lower back pain and what felt like cramps. I usually do not get cramps or back pain prior to my period. I took a preg test a few days before my period was to begin and came out neg. I have also noticed my lower abdomen feels a little hard, I definitely have an increase in sex drive, and an increase in eating, and feel moody where the smallest thing can make me feel like lashing out. My next period is suppose to begin approx Jan 30. I have not taken a preg test since before jan 2.

Just wanting someone else's opinion. Thank you!

I used to get my period every 28-31 days. However, in the past 3 months, I have gotten my period in 38 days, 31 days, and 37 days, respectively. When I do get my period, the bleeding is normal and lasts anywhere from 4 to 5 days, which is normal for me.

This month, it is day 32. I am sexually active and always use a condom. No leaks or break or tears have occured.

Has your period ever been regular for years, only to become irregular for no apparent reason?

Im 39weeks pregnant & i saw my midwife yesterday and she told me my baby's head is 3/5 engaged. what exactly does that mean? and does that at all suggest that my baby will be born soon? also i am fed up with being pregnant now i have really bad back pains all the time and cant fit into anything! is there anything i can do 2 bring on labour help! pleaaaseeeee

I've been told by several people that children all receive their father's blood type. Yet I have my mother's blood type and not my fathers. And I can't find this to be true anywhere I look on the internet. Am I looking in the wrong place? Someone please help me figure this thing out!!

Am i taking on too much? Im so so tired, the baby is due in March, and without him here I have to do and take care of everything and everybody. My biggest fear is being alone for the birth and the fact that there wont be anyone to watch my other babies. I have made arrangements with several family members to "back each other up" on watching the kids, but with it being my 4th, im scared nobody will get here in time. I think im just worrying too much!! Any ideas?

i want to become a midwife with a masters dgree and this year september i will be applying to university, and i have no idea which route to take

i have been told there are two ways:-

1. take a degree in adult nursing (3yrs), then a midwifery degree (18mths), and then a masters degree in midwifery (1yr)
or
2. take a midwife degree (3yrs), and then a masters degree in midwifery (1yr)

saying, "go to the doctor"? how does that help the person who is asking the question. if they wanted to go to a doctor, then im sure that they would at least be on the phone with them. but some people just ask questions to see if anyone is or has dealt with it before and if they could just get some friendly advice and help them not worry as much. wow. i just had to get that off my chest....

Does anyone know if there's any danger in having big orgasms in the first few months of pregnancy? I've noticed I cramp after having an orgasm. I'm 7 weeks pregnant with my 5th child but I've never noticed that is previous pregnancies......I'd like medically licensed answers the most.

Im 11 weeks pregnant and at 6 weeks and 1 day i saw my baby and the heartbeat on ultrasound,,,the heartrate was 126 that day,it looked pretty fast for 6 weeks in my opinion..I heard that girls heartrates are faster and boys are slower,was accurate for my other pregnancies and i was just wondering is this a little fast for 6 weeks and could i say for right now its looking like a girl? I really really want another girl,,have appt in a week to get heartbeat agin...
