Absolutely not. Many women wait until they are in their 30's (some late 30's) before they start a family. They do this for many reasons, marriage, career, gaining more wisdom in life, etc.
Think about it. Aren't you more settled in your life now you are turning 30, than when you were 18 or 21?
I think 34 is a great time to have children. Have as many kids as you want. Women are having kids in their 40's and 50's. While I think 64 is too old to start a family - 34 sounds like a perfect time to start one.
Have lots of beautiful, healthy and happy children.
Blessed be........

I think to START having children if u want more then 1 or 2 is cutting the edges and getting dangerous for your health moreless..I think 30 is a great time to start having kids though...or have your child before at least 34 so then u can start planning your next...Mothers who have children past the age of 35 have more of a risk of health problems associated with pregnancy, more then one child at a time (twins, triplets etc.) and have babys with down sydrome..this is because the mothers eggs are getting old and not as mature as mothers who are in there 20's..Just be careful and take care! Good Luck!

I don't think it is too old, but your rate of risks is heightened. I had a child at 33 and again at 36. If you leave it until 34, you might take longer to fall pregnant and if so, you will be in the higher risk level.

Depends on how you define "too old". Your not "old" at 34 by any means, but biologically you're certainly getting up there. Your prime time for having babies is where your at right now are you going to be THAT much more ready in 4 years? Pfff doubtful.

I think that having children is a state of mind and if you are young at heart you will be able to enjoy having your child. Just remember that they take a lot of energy. I'm 28 and have a 13 month old son. He is always on the go. What ever you do remember that a child is just as much fun as they are work
GOOD LUCK

At the age of 34 yes your biologicial clock is ticking but I had my last child at 39. Its better obviously when your younger but i would persoanlly say up until the age of 40 its natural especially nowadays when women are having careers. Please dont think 34 is to old. I sincerely wish you the bet of luck

I would have preferred to have children when I was younger. I am now 36 and pregnant for the first time. But, I am more prepared and have more patience than I did at a younger age. I think it's better to be older than much too young.
We just weren't expecting to have trouble trying to conceive. We had to go through IVF to get pregnant.

Not it's not too old and with today's technology it can be very safe as long as your healthy. They say there is a significant change by the age of 35 that can cause problems in pregnancy but anyone can have problems. i think yo u'll be fine
