I used to get my period every 28-31 days. However, in the past 3 months, I have gotten my period in 38 days, 31 days, and 37 days, respectively. When I do get my period, the bleeding is normal and lasts anywhere from 4 to 5 days, which is normal for me.

This month, it is day 32. I am sexually active and always use a condom. No leaks or break or tears have occured.

Has your period ever been regular for years, only to become irregular for no apparent reason?

Yes it happened to me right b4 I got preggo in fact I ovulated late a couple of times and misssed a good chance lol one of my friends said about every 4 years or so in the childbearing years thing switch up she is 54 so I don't know if that is true or not but a lot of women alter there cycles with birth control etc so things change when you come off of it etc!! I was on the pill for 7 1/2 years and things went back to norm for a couple of months just a little more cramps and pms stuff then haywire then pregnant so my body must have not have been to out of whack if I conceived!!

It takes a while for your menstrual cycle to become regular. But if you were already regular to begin with....then it's probably because of stress, depression, different sleep times or hours, eating less or more....it varies. But no matter how irregular....just because you've had you're period...you're not pregnant. Ever since I've first had my period it's ALWAYS been irregular and then not just that....they lasted like 7 days. So because of that I started birth control. Now they're always regular. But I'm sure it's because of your health, growth, and all that other stuff....your period will get back on track.

Yes, as u get older your cycle starts to change and your hormones go out of whack...Mine did that for the longest, thank god it got back on track in time for me to get pregnant =)

Dont worry it will eventually go back to normal....girlie stuff!

yes mine is like that. i would suggest going to your gyno and talk to them. but i take it that you are not trying to get pregnant so they will more than likely put you on birth control to help regulate you and on top of that then you would twice the protection!

stress, weight gain/loss, lack of sleep, etc....can all cause your cycle to be irregular, but if you're curious, take a test
