Reason I am asking is I am thinking about purchasing one .I know when my doctor uses it it also pickes up mine as well . So how can you figure out which one is your from the babies ?

Is it okay for me to have another baby shower? I have a 3 year old. When I was pregnant with him I had a baby shower(my mIl threw it for me) and now am pregnant again with my 2nd. There is talk of throwing me another baby shower and registering again.
I said "no" it isn't appropriate for either. Is this right? I thought that I am suppose to have only 1 baby shower and 1 time registering. I don't want to be put in a position of feeling uncomfortable by someone throwing me another shower if it isn't the right thing to do. I don't want people to talk and say...ohh can you imagine she is having another shower.
What is the right thing to do? or not to do?

I have all the classic symtoms of early preganancy, I took a HPT this morning it came up negative, but I still think I am, I am very regular and should have started yesterday Monday 18th. When do you think I should get a blood test?

I am 6 weeks pregnant and in the morning I have no appetite..just a very slight nausea...is it dangerous for my body if I dont eat...the fetus needs to grow...WHAT DO I DO??? its 12 oclack now and i didnt eat anything yet! Any advice?? thanks

I have been lactating for 3 weeks, my breast are killing me, and my appetite has picked up. I had a blood test done to see if I'm pregnant, it came back negative...could it be wrong?

Will the fluid somehow harm the baby? Besides me getting a bladder infection ( and i shouldnt really cuz i mostly drink water all day long) what else could holding it do to my baby? I hope the fluid isnt toxic enough to hurt the baby cuz i dont get a chance to get up much from my desk, and i was wondering if this could cause a potential threat to my baby. thanks for ur answers.

I'm not pregnant (had blood test), not newly off any medications, and have not breastfed in 9 months. Why are my breasts not only lactating, but aching? At first I thought it was because I was going to get my period since it started 2 weeks before my period, well now that's done and it's still there. Could the blood test be wrong and I could be pregnant, or is it something else?

I am 14.5 weeks pregnant and wake aup a lot of times in the night with my hips hurting and the right side of my lower back in very bad pain. Occasionally during the day if i have to pee really bad or have been sitting or standing for a long time my back will hurt in that same spot. The only relief is to walk. Does anyone else have this and does anyone know of a good website that gives pictures of where your sciatic nerve is so I can see if that is where my pain is occuring?

i was 2 weeks late, and then yesterday all of a sudden i started and it has been really heavy and i have never experience cramps this bad before, and there was a big glob of just blood when i went this morning. am i having a miscarriage, if so do you think i should tell my b/f or should i just leave it alone?????

I started my period on december 16th. On the 18th I removed a tampon and it was clean except for one tiny little drop. Today, the 19th I woke up to a light pink discharge that is only there when I wipe, its not like a regular bleeding. My husband and I aare trying to concieve, I know it is close to impossible for me to be pregnant now that I got my period, so what is this then?? please help me!

I am 13 weeks and it is busy in there, but moreso in the last 2 days.

This is my second child and with the first up to the day she was born I didn't always know what was her or gas, unless it was a STRONG kick. I have a busy stomach.

How do I know what is baby and what is gas and other stuff?

I had a headache that would not go away last night. I gave in and took a tylenol, but only one I usually take 3. I am 5 weeks pregnant and they say this is one of the most critical times for developement. I tried to lay down in a dark room and everything and it would not go away. Is taking tylenol every once in awhile okay? I wouldn't have taken it but it kept on getting worse as the night went.

ok my friend was due on dec 5 and she has no insurance because she says the state said they make too much money by 20 dollars a month. well the baby has dropped and she was having contractions and thy all of a sudden stopped. the baby moves and everythign but i think she needs to go to like an income based doctor and see if somehow she can get induced but she doesnt listen to me. shes 18 and thinks of course that she knows everything. how do i tell her she needs to get induced for the babys sake. she doesnt listen to anything anyone says unless its her dad saying it. and she thinks that because her husband wants to hang out with his friends once in a while that he doesnt care about the baby HELPPPPPPP!!!!! I thought periods were the lining of your womb being thinned back down, so how is it possible to be pregnant and have periods? I know that it is as I've spoken to people who've had periods right up to 7 or 8 months, just wondering if anyone knows and can explain?

Hi, tested last night, had very faint line, went to the docs today adn again, very faint line. was told to come back on friday for another test. I am wishing that I was pregnant and seem to have all the symptoms, (miscarried 6 weeks and 2 days ago).

Is this normal? KNow I should have asked my doc these questions but I was so damn worried.

I've heard there are lots of signs of telling whether i'm having a boy or a girl. I know its stupid and i will find out for real on the 29/12 but just thought i'd check. Anyone know any old wives tales about these signs?
