I am 7 weeks and it feels as if my pregnancy symptoms come during certain times of the day, is this normal? I also was wondering how often does morning sickness last, could it be for a short time if relived by something you eat?

Almost all symptoms of pregnancy can come and go, so don't worry. Morning sickness lasts different amounts of times for different people, but generally goes away after the first trimester.

For me, I usually felt sick if my blood sugar dropped, and eating a little bit of protein (like an ounce or two of cheddar cheese) seemed to relieve it.

If you are having problems nausea, try eating smaller, more frequent meals, and drinking TONS of water. Some people find that eating ginger or ginger cookies helps, or eating a few crackers before you get up in the morning.

When I was pregnant with my son I would feel sick as soon as I got up on the morning I would eat something and I would feel better right away, but with my daughter I would get sick almost all the time. Certain smells all kinds of stuff. The best thing I know to tell you is that you just have to figure out what's best with you because 50 people can give you advice and nothing they say we'll be able to help. Every person and every pregnancy is different

Although most women do get sick first thing in the morning while pregnant, that is not always true. With me it was late afternoon and early evening. Cooking dinner was a real adventure! Morning sickness usually goes away after the first trimester. Everyone is different so maybe you could relieve it by eating something - although that isn't usually the case. Just make sure you have Tums handy.

Morning sickness isnt just i the morning, sorry to tell ya. One day I'm ill in the morn, somedays I'm ill at midnight, the evening. I have no idea why they call it morning sickness. I was told that it usually subsides near the end of the first trimester, although I have had friends that have had it all the way through their pregnancy, and others that didnt get it until the end of their pregnancy. Every one is different, I'm waiting patiently too. goodluck.

Morning sickness sucks. One minute you're great, the next you're hunched over the toilet.

Try eating small snacks pretty much all day. Keep your belly from becoming empty. Lots of water. Try crackers, bread and other carbs.

They make a product called Emetrol that helps with nausea and is safe for pregnancy. It didn't help me, but did help a friend.

With both my pregnancy's I had morning sickness pretty much off & on all day long until about the end of the 3rd month.

Try sea bands - they worked for me! (If you don't know what sea bands are - you can find them at a pharmacy in the stomach medicine section. They are bands you put around your wrist.)
Good luck!
