Pregnancy - December 2006

I work in the health field and do a lot of home visits with elderly and sick people. I am 2 months pregnant. Generally I am pretty healthy but don't want to make the mistake of not getting immunized and than getting sick that it could harm my unborn baby. thanks.

I am 8 weeks pregnant and have horrible morning sickness the only thing that works to settle my stomach is warm tea and saltines or ginger snaps... I have been sick all morning adn havent really ate much but now I havent thrown up for about an hour and a half adn I have been drinking warm tea. I have a salad in the refrigerator with ham, turkey, mushrooms, and italian dressing. Do you think it is safe to eat that or should I wait longer... I dont want to puke anymore today.......?

Am I a bad person?
Okay, I am a stay at home mom of a five year old and one on the way and go to school full time . I babysit for my sister fulltime because I stay at home. I didn't want to because this is my time to get ready for our baby, finish school, and she just uses and abuses till you don't want to help her anymore. She acts like everyone owes her something because she doesn't know how to make one good choice. She only thinks of herself and not her children. She makes enough money to take care of everything in her life without even working, but she blows it before she even gets it. She is never happy anywhere and moves every couple of months. She has a 13-12-1 year old children I feel sorry for them. I ve been sitting for her w/ agreement that she wouldn't move again for at least the school year, well shes moving. This wasn't the agreement, now I really don't know how to tell her to figure it out for herself. I can't handle the stress w/my own pregancy, school, & family.

Hello Everyone....Please Help....I had my period on Nov.26, however, i had unprotected intercourse on Dec.3rd, Im pretty normal however, this Friday Dec. 8th, i notice some brownish spotting, on Sat & Sun i kept bleeding and even today im still bleeding some brownish color.....I don't understand why im bleeding since on Monday Dec. 4th and Tues 5th, i took the emergency contraceptive pill, do you guys think im pregnant? Please help me......i will test when the bleeding stops....Thanks so much for reading.......

my problem is although i eat a good breakfast, i find that most of my calorie intake(60%) happens 2-3 hours before i sleep..how will that effect my weight loss plan?

Sorry, but really can't find any info on it. Nothing in the ingredients looks harmful...but I eat tons of the stuff....so just trying to make sure ;-)

I noticed that I had gained weight in the last month after my period. About 2 weeks later, I started bleeding really heavy, I had cramps, and the bleeding lasted for about a week and a half. My nipples have also been lactating recently. After the bleeding stopped my stomach went in. I have never gotten bloated with my periods before, so are these signs that I had a miscarriage?

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on Friday 18th August, he dumped me that night, and I got drunk on the Sunday 20th and had protected sex with a friend of mine (no excuse I know) The condom wasnt appering to leak, but my conception date has been put at the sunday. Any ideas? For all the people wanting to judge me and stuff, dont bother, I feel bad enough about it already.

My mother in law wants to be in the labor room. I dont want her there. I know people say i wont notice but trust me i will. I dont want it to make it a hard delivery because someone is watching that i dont want in there. I am going to be concentrating on something other than being in labor. Not too sure how to ask that quesion: I'm having a hard time believing I had a tubal pregnancy after everything I read I have a tilted uterus and when i went in to have this ultra sound I was only 2-3 weeks pregnant they couldn't find anything and that's fine but then found it in my tubes, I'm wondering if maybe it just looked like it was in my tubes being my uterus is tilted. i have not had my period at all last month and i am scared i am. if i am how would i tell my mom? i am not with the person who is the father because he broke up with me before i brokeup with him(let him tell it). i told him not ready for a baby and neither an i but we made a decision to have sex so we are ready ii guess. there is no way in hell that if i am i am giving it up or killing it. i just am scared so plase tell me something....

Ok, heres the deal. i had sex on Nov. 23. (condom broke) i took the morning after pill on Nov.25. my period was Nov 6-11th or so. i was soposed to start my period on Dec. 9th. in other words im a couple days late. do you think its side effects from the pill or is there a huge chance im pregnant? i know the pill doesnt always work. do you think thats the case?

I have been pregnant twice. I am well aware of what it feels like when a baby begins to move around inside of me. I am now feeling that same movement. Have you or anyone you know felt these exact movements and it was not because of a baby ? I have never felt this except pregnant so I do not believe it is anything as common as digestions.

Thanks for all of your answers! I have been sick for over a week with strep throat -- that is gone.. but now i've got a horrible cough. Normally I would just not take any meds and wait it out (im not a fan of meds anyways.. especially when preggo) however.. I am still working full time- and I am on the phone all evening at work... so "toughing it out" is not working so well. Last night i drank over 3 liters of water in 6 hours! Anyways though.. I would rather not go get more cough medicine (i had a little tussin left i took the other night) and I can make tea etc etc at work-- soooo my question her is what are some "home" remedies you all know that have worked for your coughs? (ie i am coughing so much it's making me puke everytime i start coughing) And I am getting plenty of rest while my six year old is in school.. =)

I am a Coke addict.(By that I mean Coca-Cola) In two days I drink a 2litre bottle. I actually crave it, and it is not the sugar I 'm craving, because I only wany Coke-not candy or anything like that. I have had irregular periods since I was 17 and for the past 11 months it has become regular. My last period was from Oct. 3 to Oct. 9 and I have not had one since then. Could it be that my period is becoming irregular again or is there a chance I might be pregnant. I've been living with my boyfriend for about 7 months and we had been having unprotected sex. I've looked online for symtoms of pregnancy and they only symptom I had was breast tenderness ans it only lasted about a month. What do you think might be causing this?

I have read and heard that the normal 14 day theory is a myth, that's only true if your cycles are 28 days. I am now pregnant but have wondered if there's any way to find out what might be the normal conception day for people with irregular periods. I got off the pill in July and skip a period had one 35 days apart and also one 29 days. Just curious if anyone might know the norm for irregular periods.
