Not too sure how to ask that quesion: I'm having a hard time believing I had a tubal pregnancy after everything I read I have a tilted uterus and when i went in to have this ultra sound I was only 2-3 weeks pregnant they couldn't find anything and that's fine but then found it in my tubes, I'm wondering if maybe it just looked like it was in my tubes being my uterus is tilted. I hope this makes sense.

The ultrasound technician is probably educated about tilted uteruses...And, will be able to work with you, and check everything as she/he normally would. She/he may even point it out for you...

NO..... it sounds like you have an ectopic pregnancy. They know what they're doing. I have a tilted uterus....which is common I hear, and last February I had an ectopic pregnancy. Don't fool around with this or question a doctors diagnosis about something this serious. I had to have surgery because I had no symptoms of an ectopic except light spotting, that's why they did an ultrasound. They found the embryo in my left tube at 7wks with a beating heart! :( I know it's a sad time and something that's going to be difficult to get through, but you will. Just get it taken care of now, because the further along it goes the harder it is to get it taken care of without surgery, which I had and had my tube removed. I'm now 37wks pregnant with a boy! So good luck and listen to the doctors!!!!

Ultrasound technicians have been known to make mistakes with tilted uteruses. Usually diagnosing a blighted ovum, or chemical pregnancy.

I have never heard of them saying it was tubal and being wrong. However tubal pregnancies are PAINFUL.

I would get a second opinion, because while tubal pregnancies are dangerous, and I don't want to downplay that. Surgery is dangerous to you and the baby, and you would want to avoid it if it is done in error.

(Why did you have an ultrasound that early? Just wondering)

They are trained professionals. They can tell the difference between a tilted uterus and a tube. I am sorry.

It does kinda make sense, but it's not likely that the tilt in your uterus would have thrown off the ultrasound machine. I'm sorry for your loss :(

It's normal for you to feel the way you do and to be in denial and disbelief, but unfortunatly, I'm sure the tech knew what they were looking at. Grieve as long as you need to and try again honey.

I don't think doctors make that kind of mistakes....that's very serious what you are thinking....I don't think so.
