I have had irregular periods since I was 17 and for the past 11 months it has become regular. My last period was from Oct. 3 to Oct. 9 and I have not had one since then. Could it be that my period is becoming irregular again or is there a chance I might be pregnant. I've been living with my boyfriend for about 7 months and we had been having unprotected sex. I've looked online for symtoms of pregnancy and they only symptom I had was breast tenderness ans it only lasted about a month. What do you think might be causing this?

one of two things most likely - going back to irregular periods, or pregnancy. best to take a home test and see if you are pregnant. if it's negative, then you're probably just irregular again.

The first step in finding out would always be a pregnancy test. Some symtoms that are involved with pregnancy in the first trimester though are mainly flu like symptoms, Trust me you will be very tired and could sleep for hours plus in some cases the change in hormone levels will cause the annoying plaige of morning sickness, heartburn depending on what you eat, food cravings that you don't normally have and although most people don't add this most people tend to get alot of exess gas (yeah sorry) Anyways goodluck!

Bless your heart!!! You can go to a Dollar Store and buy an inexpensive home pg test (you may have to ask the cashier). That will relieve your mind. Since you've had unprotected sex there is a very good possibility you are pregnant. Out of all five of my pregnancies only one of them did I only have tender breasts as a symptom. If you aren't pg, then there is alot of things that could be going on. You could have hormonal problems or Thyroid problems which only a Dr. would be able to tell you about. Buy a home pg test and rule out a pregnancy, then go to the Dr. Good luck!

It could be either... take a test to find out for sure. If the breast tenderness was lasted a month, and this is the first missed period you have had... then it wasn't pregnancy related. Take a test to find out for sure. Good luck

Some women do not experience any symptoms throughout the first trimester. It's been plenty of time for you to test. You need to take a pregnancy test and find out so if you are pregnant you can get the care you need. If it's negative I would make a doc appt to see what's going on and how to help you.
