Yes it is recomended that the old, sick, toddlers, and pregnant women get their flu shots because their immune system isn't as strong. You immune system isn't protecting you it is protecting your baby so you are more likley to get the flu than healthy non-pregnant women. Oh yeah do wait until after the twelve weeks are up you aren't suppose to take anything not even tylenol until after twelve weeks.

WOW I'm most effective 10 weeks and three days alongside and I too wish the flu shot. I'm moderately healthful I simply do not wish the flu. I had it final March and I suggestion I was once demise. I requested my medical professional if I could have one and he or she mentioned pass forward. I've been striking it off considering the fact that I'm scared what it's going to or would possibly not do to the child. I take trazodone and effexor that is for panic assaults and anxiousness. I'm due in July and I do not suppose I'll get the flu shot. I do not even just like the healing I'm taking now however I need to take it. Some ladies do not appreciate and thinks I will have to give up the healing utterly. If I would I could achieve this . Can't you discover a few stroll in health facility to supply you the shot. I do not appreciate why the medical professionals are not able to reply your questions that turns out unusual. Good Luck on what you do.

Yup, get your flu shot! Being in the first trimester is hard enough on your body...compound it w/ the flu and you'll be miserable for up to 2 weeks! Pregnant women in ANY trimester are encourage to get flu shots--I had mine the night before I delivered! The shot is made w/ an inactive virus, so it's not going to hurt your baby.

Yes you can get the flu shot. I got it when I was 7 months along. My Dr. said it would help me as well as the baby. If I was you, I would double check with my OBGYN first, but it should be just fine.

When I was pregnant with my son my doctor had me get a flu shot during my first trimester. I think as long as you get one during the first trimester it is okay. That's when I got mine, but you should check with you Ob just to make sure.

Tell your doctor about your situation. But, most doctors do recommend pregnant women to get immunized.
