I have seen in Zara some really nice dresses-tops that are tight on back and hands but are big under the breasts. I think that if you get a pair of maternity trousers and some of these tops you can create a variety of smart outfits on a low budget. These tops-dresses I'm talking about would be OK until about 7th month.

I got a lot of cute clothes when I was pregnant and all were so inexpensive. Try these places:

Fashion Bug (online or instore)
Gap Maternity (online mainly)
eBay-Great!!!
Target
Ross (usually has a rack in the back with some cute things)
Goodwill and Thrift Stores
Garage Sales
Friends ( or friends of friends)
Churches

I wanted some really cute and trendy things, so I also shopped at Charlotte Russe and Forever 21. They are not maternity stores but I found the cutest "babydoll" style tops there. Also, I'd buy the stretch jeans that were low-rise in one or two sizes bigger. So, though I was not a junior, the junior stores were awesome!!!
I would actually get stopped in puclic when I was pregnant, by people telling me how cute and pretty I looked. Theyw ould be shocked when I told them where I bought most of my things! They couldn't believe they were not maternity clothes!

Anyway, good luck and congrats!!

I bought my maternity clothes on ebay. I got old navy and gap clothes there really really cheap. And really you dont need much. Get a few nice shirts and then go with casual wear. And get at least one good pair of maternity jeans.

good luck

I got some good bargains on Ebay as people only wear them for a few months and are in good nik!

In the UK here the NCT have sales and mat wear is included but never a huge range. I found Dorothy Perkins and Next sales cheap too.

I only had one pair of work trousers and owuld was them on a tuesday night for the rest of the week - thank god for dress down fridays!

Look in the yellow pages under consignment shops for gently used maternity wear. I got some that way and it saved a lot of money. Good Luck!

Target and Wal-mart have some nice stuff. You could also try E-bay. I also got some things at Goodwill. Also, ask around. There are probably people you know who have maternity clothes laying around.
