Ok, thanks everyone :-)
I'm 6 weeks and 1 day so I'm safe on the heartburn for now LOL But I'll watch the sodium.
I'm not a huge veggie fan...but will eat them if they have adodo seasoning on them...and trying to eat lots of vegs now :-)

nancy-I was raised on good ole American cuisine LOL But my mother in law is Puerto Rican, so I got immersed in hispanic food and culture...and LOVE it now!!! LOL My last pregnancy I ate Jalapenos out of the jar and everyone thought I was nuts!!! Rice and beans topped with Adobo is staple food in this house though ;-)

Yummm...I've tasted adobo and it's really good (it's a Filipino dish, isn't it?). Nothing in the ingredients seem to be harmful, just stay away from MSG and other food flavor enhancers (make sure all the ingredients are natural and keep the salt to a minimum).

as a new mom of a 1 month old. I can tell you i ask a lot of things with adobo being hispanic. and i have a beautiful baby boy. also as a registered nurse no there is nothing wrong with adobo, just what your salt intake ( may cause eclampsia)

I do not believe that Adobo will hurt the baby, I eat it on almost everything. Now I have a question for you.........I'm craving HOT stuff. Nothing is hot enough for me right now. My acupuncture told me that I'll have a feisty baby if I continue to eat spicy, is your baby feisty?

Adobo is fine, just be cautious as the sodium content is high watch your blood pressure. I have High Blood Pressure and I can't use it.

It won't harm your baby in any way, but it can cause a lot stomach acity reflux (because of all of that spicy ingredients). Eat it wisely
Good Luck and God be with you!

That's what I cook with, and my baby was born fine, and I am currently pregnant and this baby seems to be fine also. But remember the key is moderation. Good luck on your pregnancy.
