I am 11 weeks pregnant and I do think IM doing almost every thing right! I am taking my prenatal vitamins every day and am also taking fatty omega acid pills and walking a mile a day IM over weight also so I find it very important that I keep my activity good so do you think a mile is enough?? I also take in my fruits and veggies I am gradually over coming my morning sickness but that does not make me happy like I thought it would I feel so happy inside even when IM vomiting because I know a miracle is going on inside me causing me to get sick so when its gone what will be next to show me that I have this miracle in me??? also my friend said I shouldn't sleep on my back why??? I asked her she said her doctor told her not to so I don't understand! I wanna know every thing I need to know from now till my 40 weeks mark but all of those books are different and nothings the same so I wanna just keep getting my magazines and asking yahoo so any information that could be given will be greatly appreciated thank you!!!

i know it doesnt matter now, cause im already pregnant, but i heard that taking prenatel pills when your not pregnant up's your chances of getting pregnant, and i was just wondering if this is true because i was taking them before i got pregnant, and i didnt know if maybe that was a reason.

I am 28 weeks pregnant and it seems that alot of times when my son moves my stomach feels really tight-almost like a contraction.Has anyone else felt this way?It hurts at times too.Do you think it is just him moving or a contraction?

I had a D&C done to complete the procedure because my body wouldn't expell the baby on it's own. It's been about 6 weeks or so & I'm still bleeding. But it's not red. It's black with red streaks & really mucusy. (I apologize if this is gross) I had a follow up appointment a week ago. I don't have insurance anymore & it isn't covered under the procedure itself so I didn't go. I know you are going to say "go to the doctors" but has anyone ever had this happen & is it normal after having a D&C?

I started taking the pill after this happened & I am starting my 2nd pack this Sunday. So today is Wednesday on the sugar pills & my real "normal" period didn't even come.

Is it possible that the doctor missed the baby when they tried to take it out? I am going to buy a pregnancy test tomorrow to see if my body still gives the pregnancy hormone.

I am just looking for advice. Thanks girls.

My husband and I just found out we are pregnant with numero deux. I think it's too early to start telling people, I wanna wait a while and tell family first, he agrees and we plan on telling everyone Christmas Day.
Now I want some cool ideas on telling them. This is what I'm thinking: there's a beautiful statue of a pregnant woman standing, and the father is knelt on one knee with his ear to the belly. I think it is cute and would like to own it. I wanna buy it and wrap it, and just before we all sit down to christmas dinner, have him give me the present to open in front of everyone...they'll all go ballistic, but this may be my last pregnancy and I wanna make the surprise worthwhile..any ideas/suggestions?
How did you tell your family? Did you do anything special?

Isn't this the single most selfish thing you ever heard of? It doesn't take the best interest of the child into account at all.

I mean, what 50-year-old is in the mood to do child care round the clock? And, by the time the poor kid graduates High School, Mom is going to be in her 60s.

Who else agrees that this is the height of thoughtless self-indulgence?

I am due tomorrow, and I've gotten really worried in the past couple of days, I've even gone into the hospital and all they do is call my doctor and he tells them to send me home (which really annoys me). But I'm only 1 cm and 100% effaced, and -2, what does that all mean? I'm really confused and I can't get anyone answer me at the hospital.
What is going on?

Im only 13 and ive been with my boyfriend for a year now. And we had unprotected sex. Well ive been naseous and dizzy but im very scared to tell my mom that i might be pregnant because i know she would kick me out my house. to keep this baby but im afraid something might be wrong with it? I started taking prenatal vitamins right away as soon as i found out. Will someone please put me at ease? im so scared. I drank once when i was pregnant with my daughter before i found out and shes fine but 4 times is a lot more. Helpppppp:)

I am nearly 8 months pregnant with my 4th. I already have 3 sons (ages 1, 14 and 12). The 14 year old really seems to be going through puberty. (voice cracking, girls). My question is what is the effect of having a pregnant mom on an adolescent boy? He seems to have these mood swings with me - at times he is really protective and tells me that he will be there for me during the birth, but at other times he tells me that he hopes that i go into labor now and stop being so big and preggo? what is ur experience with this, other moms in my situation? what would u do, adolescent boys if u were in my sons situation? thnx!

My girlfriend and I do not have sex, but sometimes we play around a little...well, today she made me come (sorry for lack of a better word) into my pants, and I could see the little wet mark. I accidentally touched the mark very lightly with my pointer finger (enough so that I was able to tell that I touched it, but my finger wasn't wet after that). So I went to wash my hands. I couldn't get the water very warm, but I'd say it was a little cooler than room temperature, and I so I took a lot of soap, and washed my hands for about 15 seconds, rinsed in the water, and then took soap and washed them again for about 10 seconds or so. Well, my girlfriend was still in a "happy" mood, and so I got her off using my hand that had accidentally touched the mark...I went into her though, not just through clothing...she's missed two pills this month, last week. She missed one on Monday and took two on Tuesday, and then she missed one on Thursday and took two on Friday. Do you think she's pregnant?

I'm not pregnant, but when I am I would really like to have it naturally, I understand that it's easier to get an epidural but I want to make sure I can enjoy the very first moments w/ my baby and I've heard that and epidural can cause long lasting migranes and life long side affects, and if I have the child naturally I feel that it will be worth it. Family members advise me otherwise since I have a small body frame, but everyone of them have had a C-section or epidural. Can anybody give me some advice or tips from their own experience? Any advice will be wonderful.

I am 5w5d pregnant. This is my 12th pregnancy, I have lost nine babies and have 2 children.

I have been spotting for the last day or two. My hcg is still doubling normally and the ultrasound showed a baby measuring 5w6d and a yolk sac, but still too early for heartbeat.

My doctor thinks everything will be fine ... but I need to know ... has anyone experienced bleeding in early pregnancy, and still gone on to have a baby? Or am I right in thinking this pregnancy will end, like the others?

I went to a party about a month ago and kinda got messed up and madeout with sum dude who was making out with about 7 other girls and he seemed to kinda of "get happy" but i didn't notice and i sat on his lap. I'm 2 weeks late and I'm never late. I remember that I was wearing a mini skirt that night when i sat on his lap and he had precum and people are telling me I may be having a baby but I'm not sure. As soon as they started pointing things out more and more things started happening and I don't know if I'm bringing it on myself from being paranoid or if it is really happening.
