I lost weight with all 3 of my pregnancies in the beginning, of course I gained it back and them some. And I never puked once, was nauseous a lot but never got sick.

Yes, I had the same thing happen to me with my first son. When I got pregnant I was 165 by the time I went for my second appointment I was 143. The third appointment I gained 10 lbs, the fourth I went down to 130, and then periodically throughout the rest of the pregnancy I regained all of that weight plus 5. When I left the hospital after giving birth I was 125. I was accused of not eating properly and they made me keep a food journal and prove it to them. Every woman's body handles pregnancy differently.

When I got pregnant I lost 30 lbs in a month. They put me on all types of anti neausea meds and I was able to keep just a few things a day and just managed to stay out of the hospital. By my second trimester I finally started to adjust a little and began to be able to eat more. At the delivery I weighed about 3 lbs more than when I concieved. The violent nausea and "morning" sickness was actually my sign to start thinking I was pregnant as my periods are horribly irregular. And just to mention "morning sickness" is a completely retarded name for that. Anything that wakes you up at midnight to puke or causes you to vomit every five minutes for 2 weeks shouldn't be called anything so simple sounding as "morning" sickness.

I lost 25lbs by month 6 in my first pregnancy. Only I started at 115. I packed on the weight at the end and the baby was fine.
"morning sickness" is an understatement. You know you're in trouble when you wake in the middle of the night to vomit.
I sure don't miss that. My next 2 pregnancies were puke free!

I feel your pain. I lost 12 lbs. Not until I was 30 weeks did I cross my pre-pregnancy weight, and then only by 1lb a week.
I was VERY sick too, and had the medication. As long as your OB keeps an eye on you and the baby is growing well you'll make it up in the end.

it can be normal for you to drop weight especially in the begining of pregnancy. Although you need to start gaining weight now. You should actually end up about 21 lbs heavier then what you are at now. Good luck and hope all goes well.

When I first got pregnant I weighed 155. I dropped down to 130 before I was 4 months. My final weight was 190. So you will start gaining eventually, more than likely. Good luck!

You may want to speak with your OB. I have heard of some women slimming down but if you are slimming down then your baby may not be getting the proper nutrients. Make sure you take your vitamins everyday and eat what your doctor tells you to eat. Normally a woman is supposed to gain 25 to 30 lbs during pregnancy.

What does your Dr. say about that much of a weight loss? Is it healthy? Are you dieting? (hope not). How's your sugar level? Diabetics tend to lose weight when undetected. I became diabetic during pregnancy and controlled it w/ the diet. Gained 20# near the end and afterwards, lost 40. That was okay for me, though. Talk to your doc if you haven't already.
